I will admit that the series doesn't go into details about Sasha's relationship with Marcy. Matt Braly himself had to explain in an interview that Sasha saw Marcy as more of an equal than with Anne. Looking back, we see that Sasha is more controlling of Anne than Marcy, and that Marcy is just more compliant to Sasha. It just felt like they had an understanding. This video does make good points about the problems with Sasha and Marcy's friendship, but I do think that they were better friends after Amphibia. I must admit that Sasha definitely had a problem forgiving Marcy, especially since Sasha was in the unique position of betraying a friend and being betrayed by a friend, but I do think that Sasha did care about Marcy, despite not sharing the same interests as her. Even Anne was guilty of not being interested in the same things as Marcy, and they were already friends before they met Sasha. I think the main problem is that Sasha and Marcy were only friends because of Anne. As shown by their first meeting, Marcy was just as drawn to how cool Sasha was as Anne was, but it was Anne who introduced herself and Sasha to Marcy. Sasha and Marcy seemed more like a team of causing trouble that Anne got dragged along with, but it makes you wonder if Sasha and Marcy would have been friends at all if Anne wasn't there. It's true that they seemed more connected with Anne than with each other. However, I think Sasha was just as devastated as Anne about what happened to Marcy and had a hard time processing it. It felt like that was the reason Sasha had a hard time forgiving Marcy when she herself caused a rift in her relationship with Anne. Sasha was ultimately the one who told Anne that Marcy was still alive, and I think that counts for something. I also can't forget the look on Sasha's face when Darcy flat out said that they doubt that she was ever really friends with Marcy. You can just see the doubt in Sasha's face, and it was just fitting for her to be the one to face Darcy, not just to prove how far she's come from the manipulative and controlling person she was, but to prove to herself and maybe Marcy that they were friends. Sasha was definitely worried about Marcy after Darcy's defeat and relieved when Marcy survived. I am honestly glad that Sasha and Marcy's friendship was made better after their Amphibia adventure was over.

Another certified hood classic. I'm more of a Maranne person but Marcy is too good for everyone.

Very interesting analisys but I still think that Sasha and Marcy were genuine friends before Amphibia and they were connected not only by their common friendship with Anne. Yes, their friendship was not as strong as with Anne but we still can find examples of them caring about each other. Of course it's debatable how much of that care from Marcy's side was actually from her Sasha "idol-worshipping" but it's still there. Yes, Sasha was pretty unfazed after seeing Marcy being impaled with a big flaming sword but so was Anne (the problem of Marcy and her fate being practically unmentioned in S3 was totally true). And it was Sasha and not Anne who showed the most fear and regret after Darcy's words that they two weren't friends with Marcy at all.

I'd love to see you do a Seasonal Rot Showcase of the most hated SpongeBob seasons, those being season 6-8. I'm fond of them personally but those seasons are generally not liked by the public.
