I still maintain that Rise deserves to come back and that this show was needlessly treated with the most ridiculous double standards by both animation and TMNT fans. I've seen numerous cartoons that use the same comedic story telling vibes and light humor as Rise does, including favorites such as Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Avatar, and yet fans seem to judge Rise for it while giving praises to all the others. In another life, Rise would have been the most beloved version of TMNT to date, and it is such a shame that TMNT fans continue to demonize it till this day. A lot of what made Mutant Mayhem so much fun was that many of its tropes had their start in Rise. The fact that TMNT fans can celebrate Mutant Mayhem but not Rise is hypocritical at best. This show still deserves to return, to have it's full five seasons, 26 episodes each. #SaveROTTMNT

These are horrible, I hope they continue to make them I’ve written the Nicktoons for fun before and having Zim be a villain and an anti-hero in every story is fun, like him throwing other people’s things, blowing things up and arguing with everyone over literally anything

From the way Hailey described herself as risk-averse, you'd think that the show would go in one of two directions: 1) Have Hailey be pushed so far out of her comfort zone that she starts developing an anxiety disorder and can't bring up enough courage to tell Scott her feelings 2) Have Hailey gain confidence, but to the point where she becomes over-confident. In continuing to try to tell Scott her feelings, she ends up getting cocky, disrespecting other people's feelings and boundaries, and putting herself in risky situations - essentially living out her worst fears.

Can anyone name any romantic-comedy TV shows, movies or books where the "I have feelings for my best friend, but I'm afraid to ruin our friendship" plot-line is genuinely engaging?

9:41 As someone who watched all of invader zim show and the movie and still apart of the community yes it is out of character for Zim well at least in this capacity. Zim only helps others when it benefits/effects him such as when the earth was being stolen to get burned by the sun he stepped in and saved it but states himself he was only helping because it was *his* to concur. Now in situation if you are very persistent and spend a good amount of time with him he could start warming up to you if you weren’t trying to stop him anyways, as long as you don’t do anything to label yourself as an enemy in his eyes; For example the squidman he created he actually was more happy with by the end of the episode, because while yes he is very aggressive he is rather neutral with people just usually insulting them
