My theory on why they removed the edit button for minors is because when you edit a message, anybody can put anything in that edited message. so like NSFW stuff and im guessing they didnt want that for minors. But this also ruins a lot because most of the time when you swipe for a new message, they can just say a similiar message like the previous one, usually when that happens to me I just edit it how I want it to be.
Bro, instead of them adding all of these stupid updates, they should be working on fixing the AI's dementia, the dumb filter, and broken record problems. I want to have a normal chat with a bot WITHOUT the AI forgetting the plot a few messages later, and I do not want to suffer from 'Can I ask you a question' syndrome anymore. And not to mention this sucky filter, my account is set on 18+ yet whenever I try to have an intense gore roleplay, instantly guidelined, it doesn't interfere when the AI tries to have sexual roleplay with a minor oc, or a sexual roleplay that much at all, so why can't I just have my gore and intense fight scenes in peace. When this gets fixed, maybe I'll use the app more often, but for now, I'm touching grass.
This is exactly my point, like instead of adding useless time-outs and parental control (which doesn't even work if you lie about your birth year) because of ONE kid who committed, they should improve the AI. And here they are, being scared of a similar case ruining their company so they put all of these restrictions but what is really going to ruin their company is the AI's malfunction and lack of users because of this problem.
The community has stormed the feedback forum. It's pretty much useless as the "management" is just a bunch of idiots, including the Admin. They decided to boot most of the developers just because they were discussing issues the application has, and actually showing some concern for the community (A former employee mentioned this in an unofficial server, not fact checked*)
They are starting to strike anything (from what I've been seeing on TH-cam, I'm 18 so I don't really have these restrictions) but literally, the developers are destroying their platform with every single update

Glad i deleted my Character ai account, because the website is just the use for gooning for characters for these days, well someone does kill them and mess with the ai, but in most cases people use this website just to have relationship with AI, i mean... we live now in a dystopian world isn't it? Yes, your bots may not be private but the filter sadly applies to any kind of account (past 18 or not). Updt: Just found out this, the filter in 18+ accounts is way less strict but yes, it still exists.
