Wolf why did you choose to shoot it in photo format rather then video? Wouldn't video time-lapse save you more time from having to edit them in fcpx and export since the file is already a video? what would be the advantage and disadvantage on both end?

Hi WondrKnot, I would very much love to shoot in video format. In fact, I usually shoot in video as this saves me so much time from having to work with so many pics. But there are many advantages for shooting photos- one of them is being able to shoot in RAW format, which gives much more flexibility to color grade and adjust exposure. Also, shooting in photo mode gives you a much higher resolution than video. This lets you crop, reframe or just pan and zoom without losing quality. The downside... many, many photos to deal with. And this tutorial was made for the purpose of explaining how to deal with all those photos... that's why I shot in photo mode. Cheers!
