Hi Guys! I'm trying to figure out the best way to drive traffic to my channel. Can you reply to this comment and let me know where you found this video? Thanks for watching ! 🙂
So many other videos on here take 5 mins to get the point.. and lets face it, we are searching to find out how to do something.. You are fast, clear and very helpfull, thats what keeps me coming back.. . Cheers
Hi, thanks for the video. I found you when I did a search for final cut pro tutorial. You came up in that search. I hope that helps. And yes, I clicked like and subscribe.
I've been playing around with timelapse using my GoPro. I basically have been doing it the same as you BUT your tutorial has further explained 1080 vs 4K and frame rates that I did not know... Thanks
With this very same example; I had 1700 pictures that was only 10 seconds longer than your example so this was perfect for me. Originally I had done the video at 30 frames per second and my time lapse came down to a minute… I then went back in and did 60 frames per second and got it down to 30 seconds… nearly the same as you. So here’s the issue: I need to change that 30 seconds to 10seconds.... or even 5 seconds because I don’t need a sunset taken so much time in the video -We’re talking 1700 frames, what happens when you have 10,000 frames. Final Cut Pro doesn’t give you the options to change say even to 120 frames per second. Is there a way around this??? 400 FPS to get the timeline right.... am I just dreaming of the possibility... or is it possible?
Dont you lose resolution when u scale to zoom in to remove the black bars? Is that due to the aspect ratio of the camera that is set default to 3:2? Thanks

+swekar It does. Thanks for the response
I’m a subscriber too so your video showed up in my newsfeed. Coincidentally I’m working on time lapses so your video came in handy 👍🏻

Hi Serge, Thanks for the great content!
Best time lapse video I’ve seen for FCP. You did a great 👍🏼 job explaining what each command does.
Making a compound clip for pan and zoom (after doing the Ctl+D function) is a great tip! Thanks.
*Thank you! Very helpful!*
This was such a great and quick video thank you so much!
Thanks for this video, not done a timelapse in FCPX before and your tutorial was nice and simple - Nick

Thanks...very clear and understandable. I like how you use the shortcuts.
Shortcuts are a huge timesaver, aren’t they?
thanks! exactly what I needed
Thank you guy. I send you a friendly shank hand from french guyana

+wan-der-lust I also use the GoPro desktop app to make timelapses. I sometimes find it easier than doing it in FCPX
I haven't tried GoPro Studio yet, so much to learn and so little time. ;-)
+wan-der-lust I don't like it for editing video, but it works good for timelapses
I'll def check it out. I've been experimenting with different exposure times and frame durations on a series of night lapse vids
Thanks for sharing this video with us.
Well done.
Thank you for this!

This was dope
nice work
Your awesome!!!
thanks man !
Can you comment on color grading? Can FCPX handle that or are you better off doing that in an other program like photoshop?

Depends on your still image resolution. The photos I used were 12 MP (3000x4000), so even working in 4K, you will still retain full resolution
AFTER I SELECT CONTROL D, WHERE AM I SUPPOSE TO CHANGE THE FRAME TO 1 AND PRESS ENTER? HELP!!!
+Derrick Vision Look at the time code directly under your viewer window
are you a robot?
