It is a beautiful part of our country, geologically, historically etc. Love all the cactus and am always in awe of nature in these areas. You have to get here early to avoid the crowds. Thanks for watching!

Isn’t Big Bend NP and the desert landscape wonderful! The canyon walls at Santa Elena Canyon are amazing! Impressive to see the river and the reflections! Good thing you got an early start before the heat settles in for the day. 😄👌❤❤
We loved it in Big Bend...will probably make another trip back some day. Yep, starting early to beat the heat! Thanks for watching Jennifer!
Thanks for the beautiful video! Last time we were there we had mud up to our knees. lol. The river is currently dry. Ready for the monsoon season to bring needed water.
WE have heard from many folks that the river is dry right now. I don't think I would venture out in that mud....but yes, hopefully they get some rain soon. Fantastic area! Thanks for watching!
Wonderful short walk. I remember being amazed on the approach to the canyon at the distant seemingly impenetrable towering rock wall ahead. It is only closer that the canyon comes into view. We were here twice out of season, if there is such a time here, and were the only ones at the canyon. Where you sat towards the end of the trail looked very much like the same place we perched awhile taking in the scene. The depth of that steep walled canyon is an impressive example of the power of water and its effects on the landscape. It is a wonderful drive to reach the canyon too. Best wishes ladies from the UK.
This area was amazing! We are always so impressed that you guys have seen so many things here in the States! Thank you so much for joining us!
That's my normal setting off time too and once you are up and in the car the drive is wonderful and so quiet. Nice walk along the river to the canyon and it was great to see it reflected back down into the river too. Sorry for my ignorance but is the Rio Grand the border between Mexico and the US? , so if you cross it are in in another county? Did not know you still had wild horses running free over there, we have a few wild ponies on the fells but that is about it, cheers Alan
Yes, the Rio Grand is the river at the southern border of the United States and separates the two countries. The border runs down the center. Yes, if you cross it, you are in Mexico. There are wild horses all over the country. Most are managed by Bureau of Land Management here . Thanks for watching!
👏Nice works, a pleasure to look at💯👍 +new friend🙋♂[]
Thanks for watching!
I don't know how long ago y'all shot this video, but the Rio Grande is dry with a cracked mud bottom right now. It's 110 all afternoon.
This was in March of this year that we were here.
We were there in March, it was also hot then, but not 110! Thanks for sharing and watching!
