To improve the efficiency of the heater, I found that pointing a second USB fan at the ceiling and pushing the heated air back downward recirculates the warm air that typically gets trapped near the roof. It takes a little more energy to run the second fan, but I think the payoff is worth it.

The lockers and the way you secured them were brilliant ideas, and I like the Comfort Cots. I also like the DIY mosquito net you put over the back door. I saw a custom screen designed especially for the rear door area selling at $650. I almost choked on my tongue. I own a sewing machine, and I know how to hang a shower curtain rod; therefore, I can make a mosquito net just like you did. I'm like you: I don't like punching holes in the van, and I can figure out ways to stay warm without all the fancy, expensive insulating materials.

How high is the wheel well? Mine is 17in high, and looking online at that cot is only 15in high.

Always nice to revisit a favourite trail again especially on a real nice Autumn (Fall) day. It looked a real nice trail to follow and not too bad on the knees with the pine needle cushioning flooring. Great lunch spot with a great view too and whoever put that bench there deserves a medal. What a great idea for a build. It's my dream to get a van and go travel. I'm 69 years old, pretty healthy and active but I still don't want to have to build a whole van nor do I even know if I could so this would work great
