I don’t like iPhone pro max size so now I’m with 15 pro and 13 mini (mini with life sentence 😁) and MacBook Air so this combo - small phone, bigger tablet and laptop - seems the best for me 😌👌

seriously the faster loading on m4 is meaningless. Gaming performance might matter but the size of the ipad mini makes gaming experience better in real life daily uses.
Imagine the new mini gets the 8 core M2 slightly underclocked to compensate heat that would be nuts..

@@simonekakabor9020 Same. I got my Air M2 and now I kinda want to instead of get rid of my Air 4 sell it or find somebody who exchanges their mini for it.
But with a new around the corner I'm not sure if I should wait or if it's literally as expected a chip bump. I wouldn't care much about speed as that's used for TH-cam browsing etc while my Air M2 is more the power house for games etc

tbh im using my ipad mini3 and i think it’s enough for me because i only use ipad for watching videos movies and reading news and most of my works are done by iphone😅 it’s not fast as my phone but i will be updating this to ipad mini 7. Hope apple keep making mini pads

Just got my new iPad Pro 11" today! Upgrading from my 5th gen mini, it was doing just fine but the screen is a bit small for using it for my uni work.
The fingerprint sensor is more efficient. Face ID needs you to be a certain distance in order for it to work as well as it has difficulty reading. If you have glasses, beanies or hats, mask and if it reads incorrectly it takes a while for the pass code to come up instead of immediately coming up with it.

Keeping my M2 Pro 11 inch iPad. Don’t need the OLED and faster processor for what it would cost after trade-in. Certainly don’t need losing my ultrawide camera which they took away on the M4’s. I like using my iPad as camera on trips. Which is why I’ve considered the Mini in the past. If they come out with a Mini Pro with an ultrawide camera, I might switch to Mini!

the ipad mini did quite well i think actually an iphone 12 pro should be closer to that m4 becasuse of the 6gb ram when you really go through your apps the more you open the more the mini slows down so its definetly the limit of 4gb ram and id say thats not enough in apple products anymore. even a 12 pro would be closer even if the cpu is slower

I looked at the Pro versus Air...that 60Hz versus 120Hz is noticeable. I just hate how Apple configured them. I have to spend $1500 on the 11-inch to get 16GB of RAM. It's just too many jumps in levels. I'm skipping this time, but I will wait and see what they do with the Mini if they upgrade it.
Yeah it can get confusing and quite pricey, the Mini upgrade is going to be a hit!

I like my iPad mini. Stop bad mouthing it! (Just kidding). Great video to highlight the performance difference on games and lack of difference on other apps.

No-brainer! The iPad Pro is the way to go!
60 hertz, way worse chip, small design, worse camera, and many more downsides for only 300 dollars less.

I have both. iPad Mini is my favorite device. It is great for texting and great for media because of the aspect ratio. It is still 600 nits so still really bright and although the Pro has a better display the Mini is just awesome to sit down with on the couch and watch a video.

I Watched to see the display differences. it's huge. iPad mini display wasn't impressive since beginning. I will wait for next iPad mini or maybe a pro or air model with nicer screen. iPad is all about screen as performance doesn't really matter, they're all fast for what they do

I would buy a ipad mini pro in a heart beat. I’d cream if it had OLED.
I got slammed on reddit for wanting a "close all" button, lol, despite everyone telling me essentially that Apple knows best, I hate the clutter of the app switcher and I close all apps, multiple times a day.

With no possibility of Mac OS for iPad Pro (M1 +), there’s really no need to buy M4. The new magic keyboard is incompatible with previous versions.
I tried the same thing on my iPad mini and it didn’t reload. I think your iPad battery health degraded, which causes the iPad to reload apps to conserve power.
No this iPad mini is a couple months old it has a 100 percent battery health!

That new oled display is too tempting though but definitely not that m4 chip and even if it was with m1 or anything prior to that I'll take it !!! if not for bad storage options and that jelly scrolling effect with apps and icons sizes not optimised for smaller screen I'll very well prefer ipadmini
The iPad mini is very comfortable to hold but unfortunately owning an iPhone pro max, there really wasn’t enough difference in size to justify the purchase.

If you just need to watch TH-cam and Netflix a pro is so unnecessary. Mini is a touch too small for me but the air is the best value imo.

The 11-inch would be your go to then. The size differences may seem small on paper, but in reality, it’s a big difference, especially when paired with the Magic Keyboard

I hate OLED so much.
I can use my M2 iPad Pro for hours not getting tired but the OLED screen on the iPhone 15 pro just hurts my eyes so bad

If Apple releases an iPad Mini Pro with OLED, I’m a customer. Otherwise, I’m more than happy with my iPad Mini 6. Absolutely no reason to get the iPad Pro with OLED as it does not have the full functionality of my 16” MacBook Pro with M2 Pro.
