“Is that where you got that sound from” - jen. Dude. Im dead. Its fun when you find where someones daily humor comes from. Adam sandler shaped a generation. All his movies have a low key plot thats usually about “be a good person”.
The only reason I’m clicking on this video is because I’m actually curious to hear what Jen’s thoughts are on this pathetic movie. This is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen… as are all Adam sandler bullishit

@@dallasstewart6001 I love how no adam sandler fan actually talks about any reason as to why they actually like him. They just like this loser who’s only in movies because he got lucky
Love this movie. The amazing actress Kathy Bates said when she first read a few pages of the script and said it was stupid, she threw the script into the trash. She did not know who Sandler was, even though he was a big star by then. But then later one of her family members saw the pages in the trash and read Aam Sandler was in it and pleaded with Kathy Bates to do this film. So, she agreed and it was a box office success!
Star Wars fans flocked to watch The Waterboy in theaters because it was the first film the The Phantom Menace trailer was attached to. The trailer was available to watch earlier in the week on the internet, but seeing it on a big screen was the way to go. I remember going with a huge bunch of friends and the theater almost cleared out after the Episode 1 trailer finished running.
if you and jen haven't watched 50 First Dates I highly recommend it. Probably my favorite Adam Sandler movie. Sandler and Drew Barrymore have perfect chemistry together.
This reaction shows just how special Jen really is. Her response to Vicky is what makes her special. Jen is a patriot and is tough as nails, but she is also sensitive, giving and compassionate. She recognized the Vicky was not a bad person, she just would do anything to protect those she loves. And she recognized the good in Bobby Boucher, and realized that he was much smarter than anyone gave him credit for. Good job. Jen! If you guys haven't seen it, bridesmaids is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Paul is pretty funny as well. My favorite rom-com is return to me. It's a drama and comedy. It has David duchovny, mini driver, Carroll O'Connor, Ray Logia, James Belushi and Bonnie Hunt. Bonnie Hunt directed it as well. I don't want to ruin it for you so I'm not going to tell you what it's about, but it is a brilliant movie.
The bald guy you said was in The Grinch is Ron Howard's Brother Clint . He has over 200 acting credits like Apollo 13 and many TV series like My Name Is Earl and a few roles in the Star Trek franchise .

This movie will always hold a special place in my heart. When my brother passed away in 2017, we had to go through his stuff, including his computer. Looking in his browser history to help with the investigation, we found that this was the last thing he did the night he passed away, was watch this movie. It always brings me some comfort knowing that one of the last things he did was laugh.
the scene with the baseball hitting colonel sanders is so damn funny... I remember being a kid and watching this on VHS with my mom when I was home sick from school... we must have rewound and watched that clip at least 15 times...still to this day we laugh about it.
19:25, that's Ron Howard's brother, Clint Howard. He was in Apollo 11, and a BUNCH of movies as an extra. Literally should be called Mr. Extra. He's amazing.
As a music nerd i have to bring attention to the fact Jerry Reed is a country music legend of singing and guitar playing, and appeared as himself in some scooby doo episodes as well as many other movies like Smokey and the bandit
My favorite part is also Col Sanders getting hit and making that noise lol. In High School my cousin and I would record our favorite scenes on our flip phones and watch them later lol
Being from Louisiana, this movie is close to my heart. Like Holden, it’s nostalgic from my high school days. Farmer Fran is incredible comedy relief even if he portrays our “Swamp people” slightly off from true Cajun French (though it is close).
I've seen this movie countless times since it released and I didn't know until either 2024 or 2023 when I learned the coach is The Fonz.... I love this movie and I'm glad Jen got to watch it and I know Holden will enjoy this movie every time he watches it!

Clint Howard brother of Ron Howard. I remember him from the 60s in The Andy Griffith Show, Star Trek, and Gentle Ben. He's frequently in movies Ron Howard is involved in. Waterboy, Coneheads, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Animal, The Hot Chick, Anger Management, 50 First Dates, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, and Click. I've scratched Hardlex on one of my Seiko 5s. I will concede that Hardlex is tough, and it's tough in a different way than sapphire is. Using Hardlex instead of sapphire as a cost-cutting choice just doesn't make sense anymore.
This is one of those “movies from everyone’s childhood” if you were a 90s kid. Simple message but executed well and the comedy still holds up.
