Hi Jennifer! Catching replay...dinner got in my way again..lol Love this Project! The Spiral Betty is so cool and looks like fun. Thank you for another awesome Tutorial! ❤
you could add the center to make it like a record and then “Make it Sing”. with a Spotify code. I haven’t learned how to do that yet but I know there is a class in Maker Academy
I was just coming into the comments to say that if no one had yet I had to watch the replay and this would be the perfect gift for my 24 year old daughter who loves her records.❤
Thank you so much for this long awaited video! I have a problem when using vinyl. It seems to reverse my black and white colors. I have no problem with iron on. You are the best!
Hi, how are you I wish you did a portrait photo because I did a photo of my 3 kids and it was a big fail, I saw many people did it before through the last two or three years and it worked.
I could not see my personal photo image when I clicked on the download. But I went to CDS to see what it looked like when I uploaded it there. There was a message that there were some clipping paths that were not supported. I told it to upload anyway but it looked very weird. Not sure what to do.
I love the concept of this project but it proved to be more difficult than I thought it was going to be. I used permanent glossy vinyl with standard strength transfer tape. The negative space vinyl peeled off the backing just fine. However, though the vinyl stuck well to the transfer tape, it would barely stick to the canvas at all. No amount of rolling the brayer or scraping tool helped. I had to use the weeding tool to pry it away from the tape, all the while using my fingers to hold down the vinyl, working around in the direction of the spiral 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch. It took me nearly 2 hrs to remove all the tape in sections. I thoroughly ran the brayer and scraping tools over the finished project, front and back. I love the finished results but I know it still isn't properly adhered. Do you have any suggestions for what I can use to assure the vinyl won't come off now?
You might want to try using a different transfer tape or blot it on fabric or your pants to help make it less sticky. Iron-on vinyl is another option you could use. jennifermaker.com/spiral-betty-tutorial/
It's always good to start from the beginning! Just try following each step in the video, and you'll get the hang of it! jennifermaker.com/spiral-betty-tutorial/

I've still haven't tried this. I have a really nice photo saved from last year but never cut it on the cricut yet. It's fun playing around on there.

The blog post may help. I don't know what you were seeing. jennifermaker.com/spiral-betty-tutorial/

@JenniferMaker thank you for your response. The root issue is that the vinyl is not sticking to the canvas.
Hello everyone
Good evening everyone 👋
I try to remove the background but nothing I’ve tried worked.
Also, not sure where to start! I remove everything

@@JenniferMaker I have watched your video and others. I have started from the beginning many times!
So you used HTV because you’re using a photo?????????
You can use permanent vinyl or iron-on. jennifermaker.com/spiral-betty-tutorial/
