Just wanted to let you know Ms. Maker that i appreciate you and your talent. The way you share and explain is wonderful. So even if i never win anything material from you, I've gained so much from your turorials. I started watching you while i was waiting for the machine. So i was a bit knowledgeable by the time it came. Still a newie, only 6 months trial and error. Again, thank you. Blessings
As I was watching the viedo, I was wondering how something was done and there you were....:) answering the question in my mind. Love the time you spend to teach everyone new things. Thank you.
Phones can get hot. I imagine one would run the risk of heating and melting the adhesive on the vinyl if there were no barrier between the vinyl and the actual phone.
@@Imjustlooking4fun Then that would be trouble either way, outside or in. But I've never known a phone that gets burn your hand hot. Warm maybe, but never that hot unless defective.
Thank you for another awesome project. I’ve used your shortcut for cutting multiple colors on one mat several times. I love that you share all kinds of gems!
I love this! I've used my gelli prints to do the same, so I am wondering why you wouldn't put the design on the inside of the case? Just curious! I would think that would eliminate the need for MP or a spray?
Yes, you can put a Cricut permanent vinyl design on the inside of a phone case, particularly if you are using a clear phone case, as the vinyl will adhere to the plastic surface and be visible from the outside; just make sure to apply it to the smooth inner surface and mirror the design if necessary to ensure it looks correct when viewed through the case. It will pop more if you apply the vinyl on the outside however.
Yes, you can definitely use a layer of UV resin over vinyl to seal it and create a smooth, protective surface; this is a common practice in crafting, particularly when working with vinyl decals or designs on items like tumblers or keychains, as the UV resin can effectively protect the vinyl from scratches and wear and tear.
Hello! Thank you for the files, supply list and step by step video.

Like the designs, cute

Question: Well more an idea, how about mirroring the designs and placing them inside the case. Then you don't need Modge Podge or spray?
That was my thought too, but it will be hard to burnish them in the small space.

Hi from NJ
I almost wish my case was clear now lol. I never thought to decorate my case.

hello from wyo.
Out of curiosity, why wouldn’t you apply the design to the inside of the case? It seems it would be more protected that way.
You could but phones can get hot at times and the vinyl pops more when the right side of it is facing out.
