Love these! Just a quick suggestion that I realised while designing something today. If you want to select a particular part of your pattern to cut out, if you change your rectangle to 'guide' instead of 'cut' you can see what is behind it to position it, then change it back to 'cut' and you can slice exactly what you want.
Did you have issues lining up the magnets? I align my magnets perfectly but when I close them to stick, there's bit of tension so sometimes the magnet doesn't close flat
The other day I was watching a different crafter use the registration lines on one of her projects, I'm sorry I can't remember who it was, but she took a white crayon and rubbed on top of the registration marks so that the cricket machine could read the marked better. I don't know if that would work in this case but it would be worth a try
