Word on the street is the monkey's were really annoyed at Charles Darwin's new book.
Stripped is back to basics stand-up from Suzy Eddie Izzard, and is a continuation of her style of comedy, full of "stream-of-conscious banter and predilection for nonsensical detours and frequent tangents." Recorded live at the Lyric Theatre.

Eddie delivers orders of magnitude more punch lines and laughs per minute than the 2nd best, whomever that might be - but even then, no one does what Eddie does - which I'd call it "intelectual fantasy comedy". By far the best that ever lived. We want more material!
Eddie Izzard's good, but Bill Bailey's better.

Sometimes Eddie doesn’t do "stand up." He just pretends that he's the teacher, and everyone in the audience signed up for a class. It's genius.
I saw him recently in Ottawa, CA. It wasn't his best work and he was looking a bit aged and ragged as a full on woman. It was still very funny though, and I was laughing from my third row seat where he noticed me more than once. His fanbase (ticket sales) will take a hit with how far he's taken it, but I'm glad I saw him/her at least once.

I hear you. I personally find myself to be less common than extremely rare. However I hate those polite euphemisms. I've always had this limp from a childhood hip bone shape disorder and basically the idea that I was "speedishly challenged" is frankly, vomit inducing. Some said I was lame just said "Yes! @Alexander Wardrope what do you mean by "used to be a man"? He still is. Wearing different clothes and makeup won't make someone to have two X chromosomes. Steven Tyler is doing this for years and still is one of the coolest guys(just old).

No, that's wrong. Monkeys, apes and humans evolved in parallel from the same common ancestor. He probably knows that, but plays off the common misconception.
Caption “monkey’s were livid” is illiterate. Susan Izzard would never have written that. Monkey’s = that which belongs to one monkey. Or monkey is. You mean monkeys ( plural) are etc.
If Izzard saw that apostrophe in the title, the irony would kill him.

it takes a bit of prior world knowledge to appreciate the irony, the innuendo, the reach of the comedy. How many languages do you speak? how many degrees do you hold? etc.... k well, that explains why you are bored.
I really don't find this funny - he tries to be smart but he's missing the laughs completely. Sad, there is something but he needs a comedy writer to get the jokes/situations over the line.
I'm a big fan of Eddie, but I didn't find this routine funny.
This is his style. I think it's brilliant but if it's not for you, you can always watch a different video 😂
