  • A pick & place robot will place different pieces on a disk while this is turning. The demo machine shows high speed synchronized movement up to 110 rpm controlled by a Motion Controller Modicon M262 and 4 Servo axis Lexium 32 (made by Schneider Electric Automation GmbH in Lahr - Germany)

Can someone explain how it works?

i think the robot can save energy by programming it to stay at the spot where the shape was last seen estimate the time and than put

The point of the demonstration is to show coordinated motion of multiple axis. In this case 6 axis. The hand wheel axis connected to an encoder camming the motion of the rotary table axis. Then a 3 axis gantry with a 4th theta rotational axis attached to the Z axis.
It demonstrates Softmotion kinematics (interpolated motion) in the Codesys environment.

@narutoxpein98 I hardly think so, you cant put the item into hole in "no-time". It takes time to put item in a to get machine out.
