Engraving machine - Motion control made by Schneider Electric

  • The demo shows a engraving machine based on the new Schneider Electric motion controller Modicon LMC078.
    A drawing e.g. the profile of a person will converted via CAM software into G-Code and downloaded into the controller Modicon LMC078.
    The name of the person can included on a touch panel Magelis XBT GT. After starting the machine the name and profile of the person will be engraved on a work piece while this is rotating on a disc.

      On a PC we create the contour line of photo (head of a person), convert this to a controller program (G code) and download it into the motion controller. Then we include the name of the person on the touch screen of the machine and engrave both on a work piece while this is rotating. See also the description below the video.

      Because we intend to show the performance of our motion controller and it would be to easy if you do it without spin.
