Of all the members JK is the best at impersonations-- capturing little mannerisms and intonations, dance moves, etc. I'm a 70 yo ARMY and he has got Michael Jackson down to a 'T'. (I grew up on MJ) From the opening movements to the voice and to the way he sings... it's all MJ.

Except for mixing up Singularity (V) and Serendipity (Jimin) both amazing songs, this is a great list to start with.
That's our Golden Maknae! He isn't the Main Vocalist of BTS for no reason. This is the Title Track (song 4) on his first ever solo album called "Golden", which is amazing. The whole album, by the way, is in English. So he had to learn the words, the pronunciation, etc. He worked hard and it shows. Also, his backup dancers are famous choreographers and dancers. The best. Anyway, he was the last of the group to release a solo album. Also, one more thing - if you want to see him perform live I would suggest 3 things 1) iHeart Radio - with a Live Band and no backup dancers, 2) Jimmy Fallon show Live, with the backup dancers and the choreo is similar to the Choreo version here but he is singing live, and 3) just yesterday 11/9, he took over Times Square New York with an impromptu concert and performed this song and 4 others off his new album. Definitely all are work watching, even if you don't do reactions to them, but I'd love to hear your thoughts after you do watch them.
You'll find that all the members are so different in their musical tastes and styles. I think that is partly why BTS is so great - they bring a bit of all of them into one cohesive unit. They are all just amazing!

Jeon jungkook is my ultimate bias… each and every single one of these men are absolutely incredible superstars… but Jeon jungkook is the most talented person even all of BTS says that they’ve ever seen. He can literally do it all.. not just singing, dancing rapping but editing directing, archery, boxing, painting, drawing , wrestling , running and the most precious and attentive dog dad you can imagine… but his hard work , dedication and devotion to BTS and army is on mother level. His first tattoo was a tattoo of “ARMY” on his hand … in a culture that tattoos are taboo … and he wanted it on his hand so it was always visible 😢 as you can see … he has a full sleeve now bc this golden hearted , insanely talented man is also a bit of someone who isn’t scared to break barriers that it’s time to break. He’s a huge sweetie off camera and has the most gorgeous sparkly doe eyes with the precious bunny smile… what he can do vocally live while dancing is on another level. He’s pitch perfect , crazy vocal agility and one of the most stable live vocals while dancing I’ve ever heard! You should really watch him perform “standing next to you” on iheartradio and Jimmy Fallon tonight show bc they’re completely different vibes but both electric!!!!
The iheartradio live, then Jimmy Fallon are super fun to watch together in that order just bc that’s how they released them lol but if you watch one then probably the Jimmy Fallon one… and maybe the interview with him there do you can see how he really is lol his duality is insane. Performing jungkook is a beast… off stage jungkook is the sweetest and most precious human being on the planet… he’s got gorgeous sparkly doe eyes, and the cutest bunny smile that is extremely contagious… this man has a heart of pure gold!!!!
There’s a two part video on the “K-pop on Spotify” TH-cam channel promoting his album and new single where you really get to see exactly who jungkook is lol precious, trusting, kind, silly , a great sport and competitive af lol he’s impossible not to adore. Everyone in BTS is super close.. they’re brothers… but they all have a special relationship with jungkook bc he’s the youngest … everyone’s little brother… he was in MIDDLE school when they met lol and now he’s this confident and amazing young man… hard not to feel some sort of pride bc of the man he has become!

Hello, 71 year old Army here. None of JK's solo releases have anything to do with Kpop other than JK is S. Korean. All of JK's solo releases including his just released album "Golden" are all in English. There are NO S. Korean songwriters, producers, recording studios or MV shooting directors or locations, etc. He is blowing past Kpop and jumping head first into the American pop market. He is using American Grammy Award winning songwriters, producers, recording in the U.S. and filming at mostly U.S. locations such as Universal Studios in Hollywood. This one, however, is an abandoned power plant in Budapest, Hungary. No green screen. There is a photo online if the exterior with that that cool glass room. The director is a very famous Ukrainian director who has directed for Harry Styles and many others.
His self professed dream of being a giant pop star is clearly beginning in a big way! BTW, there are now 3 live performances. iHeart Radio, Jimmy Fallon Show, The Today Show, and there is a KILLER Official Choreo Version.

I’m 47, and when I heard this song, I immediately was transported back to my childhood. The MJ references are intentional.
Jungkook is the main vocalist of bts, the backbone of bts vocals. He is rediculously good. After his solo album dropped last week, he's no longer just kpop. He's now mainstream pop competing with the Taylor Swifts of the west, That's how good he is. His live vocals are chef's kiss. he's amazing on stage! BTS is an amazing group, not just great musicians, even their variety shows are so much fun

This song is SOOOO good. I think it’s my favorite this year, even though Tae is my bias. I grew up on classic rock and 80s and this song and Like Crazy by Jimin really hits that sweet spot for me.

New sub here. Thankyou for reacting to our Golden Maknae JK. He literally has most of Army in a chokehold at the mo with the type of content he is releasing whilst also being an ambassador for Calvin Klein. This new side of JK has enthralled us all. I recently saw a post of when they were about to debut when he was 14/15 and he was lookingbat the camera saying MOM IM GOING TO BE ON TV. Then yesterday he literally shut down Time Square with a surprise mini concert that had only an audience ccapacity that could rival New Years Eve on Time Square. The icing on the cake was that the confirmation that he was going to perform there was only announced 30 mins prior to him appearing on stage. There.had been a few hints throughout the day with JK on billboards in his Calvin Klein ads but nothing official had come out.
Ive seen your previous reactions to BTS and im so glad youre willing to experience more. JK is my ultimate bias but all the members bring something unique to the group, whether its rapping, dancing or completely different tones to the vocalists voices that you could recognise blind folded. Actually i think that JK joined Big hit at 13 years old and debuted officially at 15 years old with the other members with there debut song no more dream and by the way Jungkook also went to America before there debut to be formed on the break dance and the American style (i'm pretty much sure it's that but feel free to correct me if i'm wrong 😊💜)

Just a side note Jkook is not fluent in English but when you listen to this and the album Golden you wouldn't really believe that he is not really fluent in English. I just shows that he is really a talented artist and he really whatever he does that's why he is called the Golden Maknae which means youngest member of BTS who can do anything.

JK has done himself proud with his Golden album. He has grown so much with his art. I tear up when all the members that dropped their solo albums and songs 2022 and 2023. JHope 'Jack in the Box' album, Jin with 'Astronaut' single, RM 'Indigo' album, Jimin 'Face' album, Suga 'D Day' album, V 'Layover', and now JK 'Golden' album. We're looking forward to 2025 once all 7 have completed their mandatory military service. This song though, took me back to my teens with MJ and Queen. Love Golden, JK's choice of songs hit many genre. Hope you get time to listen to all of them.

I recommend listening to namjoon's solo album indigo. The title track is " wildflower ".
Namjoon is known for his poetic and touching lyrics , musicians like to listen to his music a lot since it's pure art. And in just one album , he included multiple genres.

I laughed so much when you combined shirt with sir. JK is good at getting us all flustered. As the youngest, he started training when he was only 13 years old and they debuted when he was 14/15. Korea counts age differently, although they've been talking about switching to global age. Because he was so young when they started, JK has struggled a bit with getting some ARMYs to realize that he's an adult now. He's released three singles lately, Seven, 3D, and Standing Next To You and they all show a more mature side of JK. All of these songs are on his new album, Golden, and I highly recommend listening to it, when you can. Just a warning, BTS members don't know how to do just one genre, so we never know what we're going to get. It's to the point that whenever someone asks what genre an album is, we just say, "yes", or "BTS". To me, it makes for very entertaining listening, though.

Besides all the homages to MJ armys on Twitter have connected the dots and found a LOT of direct references to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet movie - the wings, the stage is almost identical, Jk sign in the heart, rival families setting w the girl and the fight etc
