The director said it is a nod to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet. Tanu Muino said JK is her Romeo. It is completely styled like the movie. When Juliet meets Romeo, she is wearing angel wings.
I hope that sort of explains the fighting scene. Some of the drivers are on JK's side, and the others are on hers. But they will be together no matter the odds.
