I can't believe you finally you got to the sisters!!! Kayle and Morgana are my favorite characters in LoL so I might be biased here, but this has to be the most impressive reading of a theme so far. Not only did you have to figure out two different champions *and* their relationships all at once, but Kayle and Morgana themselves are both rather complex characters that even the community gets wrong very often - lots of players just dumb it down to "Morgana is actually good and Kayle is actually evil". Not only did you avoid that pitfall, but you also went deep into multiple different facets of their story, it's amazing! If you allow me to give my two cents, Kayle represents a very societal and institutional view of Justice - what we understand as cold, hard law, with fair and consistent punishments for each crime - Kayle thinks a crime is a debt that must be paid both to the victim and to the world as a whole. That's why she swore to supress her own emotions and, not by coincidence, her worship is very organized, being the quasi-state religion of Demacia. Morgana, on the other hand, stands for a much more interpersonal and even introspective view of Justice - one focused on regret, atonement, growth and forgiveness. Except for the fact that Kayle removes her helmet when you upgrade her ultimate to level 3, thus making her more human. I don't know why they did that. The opposite would have made sense.
@@Oscar97oI’m sure there’s a better way to explain it, but going off the voice lines “Feel something, anything!” “Why do you think I wear armor, sister?” As she ascends, she feels less, thus has less of a need for armor.

No SHES not. She’s actually the twin of the aspect of the aspect of justice. Is just that she don’t accept her sister’s way of justice that’s why she’s like tht
In the new LoR cards its show that they aren't the actual aspects, Mihira(their mother) is still allive and she is still the aspect of justice. they just have some of the power of their mother.
Oh yes I've been waiting for this! I main both sisters in game and think their theme is really underrated, I never hear people talking about it. I love how you're able to get so much out of this music, and hit on the fact that they're at odds but neither truly wrong. One of the things I noticed after a few listens is in the back half there's that synth that comes in and is really good at building tension with those bouncy electronic notes contrasting the very smooth, elegant tone from everything else, and also if you listen very faintly there's a kind of beating in the background, like wingbeats, which is most noticeable leading up to the end when they get more audible like Kayle is diving towards you.
I love these blind reactions you do and most of the time you're pretty on point on themes and that blows my mind how you can dissect or pull themes just based on on their music. Will keep up with this series.
Morgana is one of my favorite characters in the franchise. I love that in the begining the song introduces us to both of the characters through the voices of the suprano and alto but then they split them apart a bit to show abit of who they are themslefs. Then they clash becuase of their differences! Which ends in tradigy.
I love coming back to these videos. As a League of Legends player, I've always loved the music, but now I can't stop thinking of Destiny 2 and Lightfall when I hear Kayle's music. Sitting at the main menu and listening to the music. The two sound exactly alike. The call and response is there in the Lightfall theme as well which makes me call back to Kayle and Morgana.
Spoiler alert about part of their lore⚠️⚠️: Although Kayle and Morgana are twin sisters born from the Aspect of Justice and have a Demacian man as their father (further reinforcing this ideal of justice) thus carrying on this power and duty but they do so in different ways, although Kayle might looks like the nice one and Morgana like the bad one it’s more complicated than that (none are truly evil but if you need to be one or the other Kayle definitely leans towards evil and Morgana towards good),while Morgana believes in redemption and rehabilitation Kayle believes in absolute Justice and punishment, basically if you killed somebody Morgana would try to see the good in you and try to rehabilitate you but stull punish you but not too much and certainly not with death, meanwhile Kayle would just descent upon you and slice your head ofd before heading towards her next destination without a single glance back, neither are objectively right nor wrong.
They basically both good, because you cannot have justice without punishment and without Mercy. And I guess consider Kayle evil because she kills murderers is not really a good argument.
@@stasmen7752 I guess the reason Kayle is generally seen as the more evil (though not actually evil) of the two is because she embodies inhumane justice, literally casting off her human emotions, whilst Morgana is the opposite. We are conditioned to see anything inhumane as evil and scary. Also theres the whole thing of if you actually met Kayle she probably immediatly killed you bc you stole a cookie when you were 5 whilst Morgana would probably be much more reasonable.

I think blindfold is too much, I get that it's for to be more fair, but, I think it takes too much of your charisma from you to us, viewers. Love your videos, especially guessing videos, I play League of Legends, Warframe, StarCraft 2, and played many other games, I always find something good in games and adapt to it, so I'm very multigenre and hardly know games that I hate, but developers. Sadly, I YET didn't played Genshin Impact, Demon May Cry, Dark Souls and many other games, but now I have more inspiration to play them, because I will also have a pleasant cake (bonus) after playing them, it's to watch you guessing the story of this game/character :) I love it so much when you make guessing videos on Warframe and especially League of Legends, because I think lore of LoL is one of the biggest and one of the best in big lore terms, because it's so multigenre and good, and it groves more and more, anyone can find something for themself in it.
As the twin daughters of aspect of Justice, Kayle and Morgana have their own justice, both are not aspect just a (im)mortal. Kayle's justice is more harsh and righteous. She not care about the laws because laws can be flaw, she judge one by both moral and physical crime they did, punish them in the most equal and reasonable punishment. In her justice, no crime is lesser crime. Morgana's justice is more forgiven but somewhat terrifying. She is more kind-hearted than Kayle but her punishment is not, the criminal will suffer the same as the victim, she has many card of punishment in her sleves, sometimes even harsher than something the criminal did. If they passed, they are redeemable, if they don't they deserved her life long punishment. Aspect: embodiment of something, literally a god with specific duty.
Love the format. If at some point you are looking for something a little outside the champion soundtracks maybe you can listen to some of the other songs. Kayle is definitely the villain in this story. She is the embodiment of the zealous idea that anyone who makes a mistake deserves the harshest of punishment, even death, and the idea that anyone who is different is a threat to what you know. While Morgana embodies the idea that everyone deserves a second chance, and you should attempt to understand what makes people different and unique. Kayle is a "Believe as we do, or be purged" believer. Morgana is a "Why should we bind people to beliefs not their own" believer. It's a play on the trope where the shining beacon of purity and justice is the wrongdoer and the dark fallen angel is the one with a more realistic view.
She is not villian, they both actually good in the story. Kayle is just more strict in her views but people who cant read her and Morgana lore consider Kayle villian. She believes in eye for an eye punishment, she will kill you if you yourself is murder. That was explained by the ones who wrote their lore in reddit, and many of her quotes especially in Legends of Runterra proove it, "Spare the innocent, punish the wicked", "Only the guilty should fear me". And Morgana dont think that everyone deserve second chance, she killed Kayle follower that tried to arrest her without giving him second chance, and Canticle of Winged Systers says that she not consider everyone as worthy for second chance. In Kayle short story she kills a tyrant king that opressed his kingdome and his servants, but her fire do nothing to the ones who were not involved in tyranny. This story is about both sides of same coin.
The thing is, they both embody a form of justice. Kayle is retributive justice, being made to pay for your crimes. Morgana is restorative justice, where rather than being punished, you are forgiven and encouraged to make things right, and hopefully growing as a person.
Kayle is the evil one she has zero emotions and she cleanses every single sin with fire and death Morgana is all about forgiveness She prefers having human emotions rather a heartless space being, whoever needs aid she'll always offer it
Also, the Light and dark thing, is just asthetic, morgana doesn't actually has dark magic, its the same magic Kayle has but is purple instead of golden, another thing is, Leyends of Ruenetrra Just released Kayle there, morgana is yet to be released, Mihira was released along kayle too, and Kayle's demeanor is much more sorber than her demeanor in both league and her origin story, she seems more relaxed
Fun fact they have a yin yang thing but opposite: Kayle is a tyrant who want to rain justice on all those who sin and Morgana believes in more passionate justice and forgiveness. I understand that you got confused because from a new player to league would look at them and think Morgana is evil.
Bard, the Wandering caretaker is next. Then Aatrox, Then Kled, Then Braum, then others. Also I'm not keeping the blindfold. Just felt like being silly. but i will find a way to not look at the art anymore.

@@Oscar97o theoretically yes, but something about the way Kayle looks without the helmet looks decidedly inhuman, at least to me.
@@Oscar97o humans need helmets to protect themselves. its human to be covered in armor. the stronger she become the less her need in convering herself in armor becomes. at level 21 she would have to become naked or turn into angelic creature like mihira herself.
@@solitudesf8111 I guess you could see it that way.
Morgana isn't evil. She's the aspect of forgiveness
They’re called the ‘twin’ aspects of justice for a reason
No SHES not. She’s actually the twin of the aspect of the aspect of justice. Is just that she don’t accept her sister’s way of justice that’s why she’s like tht
@@foxyrouge8775 she is the “””aspect””” (she’s not an aspect) of redemptive justice, while Kayle is punitive. Quite literally forgiveness.
Morgana isn’t evil…in the current lore. Voice lines and old lore, though…
« They are a part of the same coin » is true in more ways than you may think. Anyway, really enjoyed the video, thank you for the quality content !!!
Spoiler alert about part of their lore⚠️⚠️:
Although Kayle and Morgana are twin sisters born from the Aspect of Justice and have a Demacian man as their father (further reinforcing this ideal of justice) thus carrying on this power and duty but they do so in different ways, although Kayle might looks like the nice one and Morgana like the bad one it’s more complicated than that (none are truly evil but if you need to be one or the other Kayle definitely leans towards evil and Morgana towards good),while Morgana believes in redemption and rehabilitation Kayle believes in absolute Justice and punishment, basically if you killed somebody Morgana would try to see the good in you and try to rehabilitate you but stull punish you but not too much and certainly not with death, meanwhile Kayle would just descent upon you and slice your head ofd before heading towards her next destination without a single glance back, neither are objectively right nor wrong.
@@warcheddar4163 you are unright here, she follow eye for eye system, so she will not kill you for such little thing. Riot Jellbug that worked on her rework lot said that she punish according to how hard crime is
ahm i think Kilam (their father) and Mihira (Mother, Aspect) were Targonians. Kilam and the twins fled to Demacia years after they were born..Kayle and Morgana are Targonians also..
Mihira was pregnant climbing the mountain (Targon) then bacame the aspect of justice.
@@12jorey Oh i see sorry for that mistake, although the point that Demacia enforced even more this ideal of Justice still stands even though they’re not partly Demacian
Sadly, I YET didn't played Genshin Impact, Demon May Cry, Dark Souls and many other games, but now I have more inspiration to play them, because I will also have a pleasant cake (bonus) after playing them, it's to watch you guessing the story of this game/character :)
I love it so much when you make guessing videos on Warframe and especially League of Legends, because I think lore of LoL is one of the biggest and one of the best in big lore terms, because it's so multigenre and good, and it groves more and more, anyone can find something for themself in it.
thank you :)
Some of my favorites of the first album "The music of League of Legends Vol. 1" but they are all great:
- The Curse of the Sad Mummy (Champion Amumu Music Video)
- Tidecaller (Inspired by the Champion Nami)
- Lulu and Shaco's Quirky Encounter
- Tiny Masterpiece of Evil (Inspired by the Champion Veigar)
Amazing video. A new cinematic featuring these sisters just dropped and now I leanred a lot about them.
It'd be so cool if he checked out some of the Team Fortress 2 soundtrack because it's super well done, it's like big band spy jazz mixed with the ocasional bit of Ennio Morricone, it's mostly made by the composer Mike Morasky and the Valve Studio Orchestra
"Aurelion Sol" is latin for "The golden Sun" which makes his lore even more interesting
Kayle and Morgana ia no a history about Good and Evil
But more about Law against Morals, two sides of the same coin that often needs balance
I dont know if you take requests but I really think that Kenshi's ost is worth your time, it makes you feel like you're inside the broken and bleak world that Kenshi is.
Kk been a minute since I thought of kenshi
I love how on some parts of the music is like one high voice is trying to fight with multiple small voices, Its like kayle being an angel, trying to fight morgana and all the humans morgana believes in
Really looking forward to what you make of Bard from the theme.
Maybe someday you'll listen to the quadruple S combo: Sett, Samira, Swain, Sylas.
Man, your interpretation made me love the sisters even more! Can't wait for you to do more like this. Keep it up!
adding the blindfold is pretty spicy I like the change

I like the dedication to blind reacts with the blindfold

2 seconds into the music
Marco: "They're sisters in conflict"
LMFAO
**potential lore spoilers**
I'm a big Aatrox fan and love Aatrox's theme but I fear it's one of the tracks that'll be waayyy too easy for him to understand just by listening lol.. Also it's not a very "melodic" track per-se but there are some interesting dissonances going on.
Sisters, angels, drama and conflict, falling down to earth... well, wow 🤯
I think its interesting te=hey each represent a side of Justice, one Forgiving and the other Absolute
I'd love to see you take a crack at Mick Gordon's character themes from Killer Instinct 2013. Everyone knows him for Doom now, but I honestly think KI is some of his best work. Jago, Thunder, and Spinal's themes from season 1 in particular are fantastic.
I freaking love your commitment to the "blind reaction" AUHSAHUSHUA That was awesome to watch, was a nice touch. How you innovate on the things you do it's just so great. Awesome video Marco! 😆
Videos are really cool and interesting to watch, thx for your work!
Please do this series with guilty gear strive too. Not as many characters so won't take forever :)
Their interactions in game are good too
I personally doesn't really care if you already look up the character, it just fun seeing people take an interest into the runnetera character
Well didn't thought my comment on Aurelion Sol would matter, but I like the idea of the blind fold, think it just adds more mystery, perhaps, not sitting in your chair so hard to tell, but yep.
First of all, the editing is on point and follows the pace of Marco speaking and the captions that have been manually done are something that isn't common on youtube which helps a lot for most of non-native speakers.
Also, I feel it a bit ironic that it has started with champions themes that I listened may times to some that I discovered through your analysis (Camille, Viego, Gwen).
Been listening to some of your other releases and they are pretty good so I’d like to recommend the combat music in Darkest Dungeon 2
I love this serie, keep doing
Still waiting for the day where you cover Mordekaiser ^^
You should 100% try Zoe's theme, it's very interesting and very fitting in my opinion
Yes we more!!
Oooops lol I was so excited that I forgot the word “need” 🤣
Just subscribed, because you insight into music is so fascinating to me, because I am not at all educated on this matter, but it's cool to see how a pro reads into these things. Thank you!
Maybe one day, do Ryze? Or Ryze's Cinematic, Call to Power? (As an interpretation)
:) hi!
You should listen to azir's theme, he isn't a popular champion, but i think his theme perfectly tells his character
Can't wait to see you reacting to Renata's theme
Also Xayah and Rakan
Tip for future blindfold vids. on youtube "K" pauses/plays the vid no matter where your mouse is or the last thing you clicked on, as long as you are in the youtube tab.
oh. I probably won't keep it! :D
dont know whos editing but its on point, amazing commentary as well!

I think you would really like Valor - In courage and gallantry from Bayonetta its awesome
Just gonna leave a comment here asking for Serpent Eating the Horizon from Bravely Default 1. Arguably my favorite boss theme from one of my favorite games of all time. REVO the goat. Great Vid as always man!

At risk of sounding like a broken record....Diana!
Looking forward for Braum and Irelia! Certified Bangers :D
Don't know if anyone mentioned it, but when Kayle dies in LoL she sometimes says "If I... could see my sister" which always gets to me.
Hey Marco! I have to say you're becoming one of my favorite TH-camrs! You have all the same interests I do, League of Legends, Gaming in general, Opera, and Voice acting. I am a young guy looking to start getting into voice acting, what tips might you have on the business and getting into it?
Hi Andrew! Check out: iwanttobeavoiceactor.com/
Pleeeeassee you NEED to do Evelynn, her theme is phenomenal!!
I CANNOT wait until you see Aatrox! When you do Aatrox, I would ask that you also do his voice lines, as that is a BIG aspect of his character. It might make your video a bit longer, but trust me when I say it'll be WORTH the effort. Again, great video and can't wait for more! :)
I didn’t do his voice lines, don’t be mad.
@@MarcoMeatball your loss man, his voice lines are juicy.

Ive been looking at your videos not so long ago and i love it your analyse of the music are amazing. I recommend you to check also xayah and rakan login screen its an amazing one they have 2 version the basic one and the star guardian one
You can use spacebar to start and pause YT videos, in case you intend to keep making the reactions/analysis blindfolded
Omg I would love if you added some quotes or voicelines of the champion after hearing the music and reading the lore, specially after reading that aatrox reaction is coming soon.
There's this channel called justanothernobody that uses the best quotes of the champions (if you search for voicelines you may end up with videos that include unimportant stuff like laughs or moans and grumbles )with fitting music. The Aatrox one there is really good.
I don't know if anyone's suggested it yet but i think you'd like "Raeb's Lament" from the new God Of War. Love your reactions!
i too closed my eyes and tried to do the same.
Hey, I have a suggestion to react to: Aces sing Aces by Lucas Ricciotti. Lucas brought together 30 people to remaster an old song called The Journey Home from Ace Combat 5, all of us with our own memories and love towards the franchise and it’s OSTs. Not only would it be rewarding for our voices to be heard, but I also think that you’d enjoy the song, a lot
As the person who kept spamming this the most, thank you so much for doing this.
You’re welcome
I want to hear your take on Seraphine's theme. Now there is a lot of hate on her but her theme music for her is solid.
could you do xerath at some point?
I like the blindfold keep it
Another good piece of video game music I'd like to hear you react to is OST11: Journey from Destiny 2
Its on the channel!
May be a tad random, but would love to see your reaction to Cante De Los Muertos (Isidora theme) from Blasphemous. It has some crazy good vocals.
You should listen to Dragon Slayer Armour from DS3. Amazing piece.
found this channel recently and im really loving the ost reactions, wondering if someday ur gonna react to Library of Ruina OST especially Gone Angels would love to see his reaction lmao 🤔
Might we get a react to some of the Total Annihilation and/or Planetary Annihilation soundtracks?
first off so silly lmao. also got this one and fun fact garens of demacia calls on kayles powers as shes kinda a god to demacia. also the two parts u called asension and the fall could represent kayles part as she always rising in a way and falling as morganas as she doesnt want to be above anyone anymore. like there quote goes" why do we have wings if not to rise above it all sister" and "why do we have feet if not tread upon the ground" also there forms of justice are kayles lawfully right justice, and morganas morally right justice

Haha you do look a little silly 😜
Mordekaiser when
Do Azir's as it is connected to targon, aatrox and the ascendeds and aspects

@@normanbear how one of most fair judgement systems makes her bad?
Also, the Light and dark thing, is just asthetic, morgana doesn't actually has dark magic, its the same magic Kayle has but is purple instead of golden, another thing is, Leyends of Ruenetrra Just released Kayle there, morgana is yet to be released, Mihira was released along kayle too, and Kayle's demeanor is much more sorber than her demeanor in both league and her origin story, she seems more relaxed
I'm curious if you'd might listen to their voice lines.
Hi im have some rec songs for u, they are from Falcom games "A Mighty power ", " E.O.V", " The perfect steel of zero " and "Where to join the chorus "
Fun fact they have a yin yang thing but opposite: Kayle is a tyrant who want to rain justice on all those who sin and Morgana believes in more passionate justice and forgiveness. I understand that you got confused because from a new player to league would look at them and think Morgana is evil.
Kayle is literally tyranny fighter, read her color story before writing such
