I wouldn't go that far saying Nobody does Hendrix better. You're obviously a younger person under the age of. 40.Only Reason why I say this is; guys like Randy Hansen, Frank Marino... Randy Hansen which is very eeriely even vocally sounds like Jimi...Dig,check out,Machine Gun,By Randy Hansen. If you don't agree that this was the most remarkable imitation of Jimi, from vocals to guitar work...well you must be related to RJ.. Copying people's music isn't difficult, but to invent psychedelic rock and roll, ala Jimi Hendrix is once in a lifetime, thing. Guys from Buddy Guy to Ted Nugent,EVH, & all others between all hold Jimi Hendrix in highest of highs,( no pun intended)... Professional guitarists changed they're playing styles, because of JIMI HENDRIX,,,Robin Trower is a perfect example. From playing a Gibson Les Paul in Procol Harum, then hearing Jimi, TROWER became Robin Trower...😢

Jimi Hendrix was one of the best Rock Rhythm guitarists, but people do not really grap that. Jimi Hendrix developed his great rhythm & stage presence, when he was in the CHITLIN CIRCUIT. For one year he filled in for guitarist for Billy Davis, because of the DRAFT,,( Bills a local Guitarist) Who is credited to have taught Jimi Hendrix play electric guitar..Billy got drafted, thus Hendrix' filled in as Guitarist,Hank Ballord & Midnighters, this was a essential thing for Jimi's Rhythm playing. Billy Davis is now 87 or 88, still jamming at clubs in the Detroit area! Billy Davis also taught Jimi how to play with his teeth, behind his head, through his legs e t c. Chitlin circuit was very instamental in the making of JIMI HENDRIX. Peace out!!! Thanks again 👍!!!

Sooo glad to hear ya takin’ Hendrix rhythm playing. Countless players incorporate it into their style. I was 13 when Are You Experienced debuted in 1967. I remembered being mesmerized by Hendrix’s rhythm technique while feeling intimidated by his lead solos.

I also have the Funky Vibe Filmore East (had one Mega Vibe before), love, amazing, no doubt one of the top 3 best "pedalfriendly" univibes currently in the market. Now, you guys really should check it out and demo the Argenziano Gypsy Vibe, from Argenziano Effetti (the V1 is the OG), which also I have and probably is the one sitting in the top of the food chain when it comes to authentic vintage Uni-Vibe recriations (in all aspects). BRETT or RJ, Hendrix 70s albums after his death they made a bunch of albums that hendrix used "string catch licks" using his echoplex which you should do a YT lesson about. Also hendrix started doing 3 to 4 note group phrases which the note groupings would pretty much be the same notes but would change sequence orders. He does this in All Along the watch tower but you have to listen to a lot of Hendrix live concerts because he does it really fast so you think its just normal blues licks but the note groupings are changing order flipping them on themselves. It sounds really cool when using a wah pedal. I have heard that this technique was influenced by hendrix by T Bone Walker. Look into it to make a YT lesson about

30 years playing guitar on/off. Never could learn to strum in that 16th note bi-directional fashion without the pick "catching" the strings or losing the pick. I know I can be taught to do that but I just haven't approached it right, most likely. I wish RJ touched on that. I know there's a degree of relaxation involved, but too much and you lose the pick. Brett I'm a little off base here as i want to ask you about tone. If you are looking for big tone differences would you start by changing amps or guitars? I first saw you on a Marty Swartz video years ago and think your both A+ but yall's tone's are off the chart. Those 13 amps sound awesome just on crappy computer speakers ( I always loved Peter Framptons tone on I wanna go to the sun an Nugents stanglehold) but the 13's need a house mortgage lol, what amps would be comparable on a layman's salary if you can give that advice here. and what's the humbucker in the pink strat. and that tele got it going on big time, really love your stuff.

Well Frampton is Marshalls and the studio series Marshalls are great and if those are still too pricey the origin series is great as well. Nugents tone is cranked up Fender Twins and a hollow body guitar so I am not quite sure how to recreate that tone cheaply. Maybe some sort of a cranked blues deville amp? Not sure or if you can find an old Fender Bassman for cheap that might get you there. The hum bucker in the pink strat is a Lollar Imperial Low Wind.

Hello men, you are speaking to Freddie van Iersel from the Netherlands. I am responding because I work as a sound expert at Radboud in Nijmegen. Specialization is analyzing sounds from organs and within Cern such as sound from black holes quasars sound that moves at 99.99999 the speed of light. And I am Hendrik's fanatic.
I'll take machine gun as an example, I've examined the entire song under various instruments and I can say with 100 percent certainty that he doesn't keep a beat anywhere in that song. The principle is that what he borrows he gives back. So he never plays 16, for example in some pieces it is always 16, 678, the next one is 16 minus 876 or 16,678. But if I calculate these measures further, they all occur in pi and in series that are infinite.
I can send a paper on what I have written.
It has also become clear that they are related to the weak force, so there are attraction tables that influence brain functioning
What is strangest is that the general picture has 60 percent in common with the jets from stars that from a supernova, 1 million times the mass of our sun, subsequently imploded into a sphere of 10 km with the same mass, so a teaspoon weighs just as much. like 100 suns. This sphere rotates around its axis at almost the speed of light, and the energy released is a jet. A jet that could be a million light years long. Sixty percent have the same characteristics as Hendrix's borrowing and giving back in his feelings. It is suspected that these deviations are caused by electrically influenced magnetic fields.
Research shows that his heart rate did not exceed 60 during some songs, while his brain activity was up to six times above that
average could increase. After his death, samples were taken during a minor autopsy.
Research has been done into Hendrix's creative part was not a specific part but cells distributed throughout his oldest part of the brain and the youngest upon deeper research, the suspicion is high that they could be found entirely throughout his brain.
Research is still ongoing at this time
