There are a ton of people looking for a ton of different things and a ton of videos uploaded every day. Sometimes things line up for a person, a thing, and a video. Today, I am that person and this video is my thing.
Sir James Marshall Hendrix died Sept 1970 at the age of 27 - Since then guitarist's around the globe are still trying to play like him . 2024 . He was a GENIUS . ✨✨✨🎸🇺🇸☮️✨✨✨
Brett man!!!! Another great lesson! No matter who your guest is… and they’re all phenomenal, you are a master of stopping your guests and forcing them to articulate exactly what they are playing, whether it’s simple, medium, or challenging. You always speak to everything I want to know and fully understand! Thank you!!!✌️❤️
Thanks, RJ and Brett! This is great stuff. Sure do appreciate all the things you do, Brett, to get really great instruction to us. RJ, you're awesome how you make the Hendrix sound your own, and thank you for teaching me (all of us!) how to do it.
Wonderful video... I love this way of playing rhythm, and I do (or better, i TRY to do) an extensive use of this style in my playing, so a lesson like this for me is super useful. Thank you Mr Papastache 😉
Gypsy Boy, covered by Doyle Bramhall, has the A>G>DwithF#>F has the similar progression to how RJ changed the Hey Bsby verse. I love playing either it and going into Villanova Junction and/or Roomful of Mirrors, Watchtower, among many other songs in Am or with that similar chord progression.
Absolutely beautiful lesson Big Papa as usual, I normally would watch these about 3 or 4 times before attempting to play along or copy what is being shown. Cheers and best wishes from London 🙏🙏🙏
As a teenager watching the Woodstock performance version of Villanova junction just blew my mind, I still think that section with the improve is the best thing I’ve ever heard. I may need to give this a try! So nice to see someone doing lesser known Hendrix songs. In the instructional video does it have onscreen tab with the lesson?
Great video! Hear me out though, crowd funded TH-cam guitar teacher tour, with Beato as the host. I want to see you guys live! Andy, Marty and Justin to Paul, we need to see the TH-cam guitar teachers unite live.
When I am playing the barre chord with my thumb I cant get the high e to ring out. I was wondering if its necessary that I figure that out or if its fine to not have the high e ring out?
And....just another quick comment, about the right hand in guitar..... Paco de Lucía told that the most difficult part on guitar is the right hand, because it's where is the soul and rythm. We, mortals, tend to focus on left hand to search the note.......instead of focus on rythm and percussive paths.
I wish i could just keep pressing Like on this video over and over. This is just too good of a video but in the end im just a huge fan of the rainbow bridge hendrix sound in general.

Sweet! Thanks for tuning in!
This happened to my last night at 1 am. Now I need to learn this. Rj is a phenomenal player and his guitar tone in this video 🤌🏿

Yep!
One of the reasons i love your videos , is you ask all the questions as I'm screaming them at the screen . 😂🤣
Lol!
Sometimes I listen to RJ’s Eastwood Guitar demos just to groove to his awesome skills.
He is the man!

If I had a deep admiration for Mr. Ronquillo, when he said that Chris Cornell is the best voice of RnR....I just can say he's my man!!!!😂🖤🖤😎💪🏽
He could sing and that is a fact!

Yeah check it out Rj did a fantastic job! No onscreen tabs but there is tabs and guitar pro files as well as jam tracks that come with the course.
@@BrettPapa signed up. Really enjoying it so far.
That was really good!
Glad you liked it!
Can't even watch the video, I'm stuck in the intro . So amazing
Haha!
A nice little move is to play the C shaped F chord on the 5th fret and embellish with the 3rd finger
Great video! Hear me out though, crowd funded TH-cam guitar teacher tour, with Beato as the host. I want to see you guys live! Andy, Marty and Justin to Paul, we need to see the TH-cam guitar teachers unite live.
Haha that would be fun!
Привет! Какие датчики на гитаре стоят, подскажите, пожалуйста
Do we need to have taken RJ’s other hendrix course first or this one stand alone? Looks great!
Nope! Just a different era of Hendrix. Both are great they just focus on different parts of his career.
jimi ❤
When I am playing the barre chord with my thumb I cant get the high e to ring out. I was wondering if its necessary that I figure that out or if its fine to not have the high e ring out?
Depends on the chord I suppose.
And....just another quick comment, about the right hand in guitar.....

Could be that too haha
Ha! The audacity! The pomposity! To change the last two chords and make it "your own thing". Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan gtfoh.
