I have the same airbrush and it is amazing at fine detail. Whenever i do fine detail on any airbrush I always turn the pressure down as you are so close to the model that it will always do the spider effect at 20 psi. The one feature this airbrush allows you to do is spray at very low pressure which you even mentioned at the beginning of your video. If you had of turned the pressure down to 10 psi your mottling effect would of been far crisper. I have a few high end air brushes like Harder and Steenbeck but this airbrush is now become my go to airbrush for all my modelling needs. I usually do 1/48 scale so not really need the 0.2mm needle as this airbrush at low pressure allows me to do my fine detail work for the scale i do. I do think there is always a need for a 0.2 needle for smaller scale, but you must try using this airbrush at lower pressures and you will be very impressed.

      Thanks for that info
I am planning on doing a 1/48 scale kit using this airbrush and will defo turn it down to 10psi
Hopefully it will perform as good for me as it does you

i find the 0.3 is about spot on to do most airbrushing works
you only really need a 0.2 to do really fine work in my view

i "use" my airbrushes pal and yes there is a chance of small scratches it does not alter how the airbrush works
been using this method for donkeys years and in all honesty its never bothered me at all but i can see if you want to keep a airbrush looking new how it is best to not use my cleaning method but i find my method quick and easy
its a case of ease of use to spending time cleaning
thanks for the comments and have a good new year

@@yorkshiremanmodels It just make it easier to clean if you dont scratch it, do as you will, its not my airbrush you ruin.
