This is Gaahleri’s All New Premium Series .3mm Airbrush.
Gaahleri asked if I’d like to check this airbrush out and see what I thought. They honestly asked me what I liked and more importantly what I didn’t like about this new airbrush. Well, I put it through it’s paces and decided to bring you along for the ride.
I gave it a quick takedown just to see the needle, jet, and cup. Well, I was impressed. The needle is shiny like it’s been polished, the cup looks like a mirror, and the jet was totally unexpected. It is an all-new design but keeps the fluted setup. Now they are longer and about halfway down have a slight twist in them. It is a beautiful airbrush with brass and gold looking inlay, and a very cool twist on the back cover. What really caught my eye is where you can see the needle through the airbrush just before it goes into the gasket. That is a cool addition. There are three air outlets in the jet cavity instead of just one. The trigger tension is adjustable. I like my trigger a bit on the firm side, and this lets me adjust without taking the back cover off. It feels smooth from the beginning to the stop.
When I went to the spray booth my anticipations were completely met by a clean smooth and controlled spray. You can see how nicely the paint covered the spoon on every layer. Then I had a little fun with a piece of cardboard just to see how fine a line I could cut with a .3mm tip. After that I did a quick double pass to see the width of coverage and it seems about a half inch. More than adequate for painting car bodies.
So, in conclusion the new Mobius airbrush felt and sprayed beautifully. What you didn’t see was the cleanup. It cleans up as nicely as it sprays. Takedown was a breeze and with that mirrored finish paint came off without any grief. I understand why Gaahleri calls this a premium airbrush. Because it is.

Been model building since I was a kid (I'm 58), but a beginner airbrusher. I ordered one last week as my first airbrush, should get it by the end of this week. Can't wait, it looks awesome!! Great review!

I'll tell you straight up, it's the nicest traditional airbrush I've ever used. It's easy to get good results with, and even better it's easy as heck to clean. I use Tamiya paint when I spray, and so far (knock on wood) I've had great results.

Gaahleri has been stomping the market along with brands like NeoEco with their SJ-83, both great Airbrushes. Ordering the Mobius right away as I like the innovation and the design. My H&S and Iwata's have collected dust since the SJ-83 came out and am putting them up on Ebay to recoup the insane costs and will be getting 4 entire paint lines and the mobius for the price of that H&S alone. These new brands are doing what AMD did to intel and Nvidia, sitting on their laurels too long and not innovating. Keeping my Patriot 105 though as that is a solid tool.

When they first contacted me I had to look to see if it was real. But it's been about six months now, and they have not stopped impressing me. I used the .3mm Mobius the other day (Sim card failed and I lost the footage) I sprayed a Corvette body with Gunmetal and it was a pleasure to use it. Not only did it spray beautifly, but cleanup was so quick compared to my old airbrushes. Not needing a wrench is top of the list, but it's more than that. It's just nicer. Have a great day, and enjoy.

I know owners who have had their H&S airbrushes for 14 years and are pro users. I use H&S, Sparmax, Paasche, all good airbrushes, good parts availability and longevity.
I've ordered a GHAD39 (I think that is the model number) and will use it as a backup, or for primers and possibly for varnishes. It'll be interesting to see how long it'll last and how long the company lasts.
H&S haven't rested on their laurels, their 2024 range is great, superb, full of innovation and customer focused continual improvement, plus most parts are interchangeable (saves costs).
I wouldn't sell your H&S just yet, wait and see how long the Chinese brushes last. I have high hopes about the two companies you mentioned, I wish them well.
BTW, I love the Chinese people, but their government 🇨🇳🇨🇳? like most governments? I no like! Especially with their human rights record. Sadly they often have a finger in every Chinese business. It was much easier dealing with Hong Kong, nice people, China has now gone all totalitarian on HK these days. Plus Peking allowed a weapon of bio to be released from a Woohan lab! Spelling altered to mess up YT AI and fascism.
Buyer beware is all I'm saying ✌️💜👍😊

I understand where you are coming from. I know a lot of people who will not use anything other than a Iwata, and honestly I can understand. I started out with basic airbrushing in the mid 90's in school, and have used just about every company's that was out there. I do have a few favorites, but since I've started using Gaahleri's Mobius and Swallowtail airbrushes I've been leaving it on the shelf. Not trying to blow sunshine anywhere, they are just that nice. I started promoting Gaahleri because I build on a budget, and I know a lot of people who follow me do as well. These airbrushes are extremely pocket friendly. For the features and the quality they are built I am more than impressed and have no problem letting all my subscribers know that. I am a machinist by trade, and know what bad quality is (trust me, I've seen my share of that) and can tell these new airbrushes are built well. Just little things that that I've noticed that impress me. I have talked to some of the people who work for Gaahleri and I honestly believe that they care a grate deal about their customers and their reputation in the modeling world. They've asked me questions about what I like and dislike about their airbrushes not to have me sing praises, but to let them know where they can improve in the future. I hope you are happy with your new airbrush, and would like to know what you think. As for the politics of the area, I'm going to stay out of that. Have a great day.

@@grandpamarkshobbies I hear you👍✌️💜😊 AND you are right in so many ways. I've also seen the prices of the new 2024 H&S range - everything is going up in price, life is tough for many. Hobbies and modelling are a therapeutic, light relief. But VFM often links with longevity too, longevity also helps the environment as well. Whole life costing etc.
I've been blue collar, welding, fabricating, machining etc, I've been told that I have an empathy for machinery and how such should feel and operate. I'm looking forward to receiving the airbrush and trying it out, I've no axe to grind. I've got Chinese friends. But as with most things post 2019/20 if we ain't part of the solution? Then we are ALL part of the problem - China's human rights issues are atrocious. Perhaps, as in many other countries, the people should stand up and be counted in each country that has such issues? We all seem programmed not to though 💔🤔😳But should we all feed the dragon too or look elsewhere? I'm ever more mindful of that, of thinking "it's a long way away, it's not my problem". I'm as guilty as anyone. Also China has become the factory of the world and shareholder, stakeholder capitalism coupled with enforced obsolescence reigns supreme. We struggle to buy something not made there. Quality can be sketchy too, even their own Gen 6 fighters are failing, also they've been using ex RAF pilots to train their pilots in aerial combat and trying to infiltrate our weapons and aviation testing too. Recently a CCP spy had a go at a UK busker, in London, outed herself on YT in doing so and her links to an ex Prime Minister. How much longer can we all ignore such things? Sorry not being a buzz kill. And decent Chinese folk - like the guys making airbrushes - need to make a living too. It's a complex, ethical issue. As with most countries, the people are great, it's the government and unelected oligarchies that are evil, that need to go✌️💜🤞😊

Hey Mark First Happy holidays. It seems that they are improving the good airbrushes they made even more. As far as i can see they are offering a airbrush with almost the same spray quality as a H&S,Mr Hobby or Iawata for a fraction of the price. I got that 39 a while now and i am super happy with it. And that Service station is looking awesome. Did not expect it would be that nice.

To be totally honest I think this is one of the best airbrushes I've ever used. The only one I've ever used that I like more is the Gaahleri Swallowtail, and that's because it's a pistol grip and it helps my arthritis. I just sent Gaahleri a letter telling them how much I liked it. The new trigger and jet sure makes a difference in how it paints.

I've gotten some very nice emails from them where they straight up say that they will be the best on the market. They even say that they would rather sell a lot of them at a good price rather than a few at a high price. That way everyone can afford to be able to have one.
