    Thanks Brad
    1:49. W-WOW yard. South. Concrete stormwater drain.
    2:15. Westside. Tunnel Project. Conveyor belt. Short amount to the left of the roll and up onto the storage magazine.
    5:30. Highway east side. Bottom right. Trenched away from the powerpole. Formwork and rebar for a small slab.
    6:07. Southend, west. Apron. Bottom right. Columns seem particularly stout. Some connection plates mid-height for beam connection. Additional floor Level in this corner possibly. Another column with these plates at 6:15. Lots more at 10:08.
    6:37. Southend, south. Inside. Timbers and plywood for formwork.
    Retaining wall. Top 18” .45m painted black.
    7:20. Southend. Tank farm. Top. Lids/caps have the various fitting flanges arranged. Some cut out.
    7:23. Stamping. Apron. Centre. Large dark grey fan unit, many of these delivered over the years. Large shiny steel box. A junction of some sort.
    9:08. Parking garage. First of the last row of columns. Wall panel infill on the south and east face of the column.
    9:41. Southend. Large black stormwater pipes.
    Bottom. Trench for an east-west grade beam/strip footing between column footings.
    10:57. BESS switchyard. Some knife switches controlling the Megapacks are open.
    Top. Knife switches controlling the cables to the Mega-Vaults at the new switchyard/substation are open.
    Some Megapacks ‘might’ be connected to the grid.
    Not connected to the factory.
    11:30. BESS installation. ‘Tesla Energy’ trucks.
    11:56. New switchyard/substation. Mega-Vaults. Fence posts in place.
    12:23. Northend. Easement. Top. Excavation works continue. Suction excavation also.
    14:32. Crash Test Track. Dunking bath. Concrete being placed for the apron.
    15:15. Cathode, plant platform. Tanks. Rebar laid out for the new containment walls. Looks like 2 structures.
    15:26. Cathode, west. Hydrant riser at the east end of the trench.
    Loading platform. Rubbish chute under construction.
    16:04. Casting east, apron. Screw/auger piles being drilled down into the pilot holes. Some piles appear to be in place.
    16:12. Casting roof. New pipework from behind the parapet extends west towards the ducted fans. Perhaps coincidentally and only passing to continue west.
    16:22. Casting roof. Top left. Cleaned up around the ducting. Almost looks like a spill has been cleaned up.
    16:30. Plastics. Apron. Pellet deliveries.
    17:21. Tesla Road, west. Stack of screw piles seen in the previous video weren’t the screw piles that showed up at Casting.

    A lot of Cybertrucks today. By eye I would say it's the record.

      @@DessieDoolanany thoughts on how parts are getting to the south end without load levelers anywhere? South end of main building has been buttoned up. Think they tear down the divider walls?

    • @DessieDoolan
      @DessieDoolan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@franklinmargolis2051I think materials will come from the existing factory. They'll open up the walls for door openings as required. I wouldn't think the walls would be knocked out entirely.
      The trenches inside at the southend are potentially some sort of access. The retaining walls in front of them seem to have been constructed for 3 openings to be made. That's speculation on my part.

    Does anyone have an idea of what they’re building with the glass extension building? A showroom, an office, a welcoming center for tours? All 3?

    • @DessieDoolan
      @DessieDoolan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Part of it might be offices, but the ceiling heights of 35' 12m are triple a normal office building. Plus there is an atrium on the west side of 70' 24m height.
      There is no officially specified use. My money is on more production.

    Looks like they are starting the very last row on the garage!! Hooray!! Cant wait until its done. It will free up so much land. I wonder what they will do to the east side parking lot once all the cars start using the garage or will they just keep it as is.

    • @memrjohnno
      @memrjohnno 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      West side or west half of the garage could easily be open for use soon after construction finishes I'd say. After the concrete slurry is poured it's 'wire' and 'plumb' it, job done. The 'vacated' parking lots.... I imagine it'll merge into just 'parking' with the perking overflow area going back to wow.

    BESS substation:
    @ 10:51 Three switches open.
    Ground wires laying on the ground?
    @ 11:02 Three switches open.
    6 out of 24 switches are open. The open switches are likely for the 18 megapacks on this side from 11:10 to 11:24.
    Megapacks:
    @ 11:14 Work crew between the megapacks.
    Temporary substation:
    @ 11:39 Dismantling the transformer.

    @ 11:56 Fence posts placed in concrete.

    @ 12:22 (Top, red fenced in area) Something is going on on the other side.

    Thanks Brad…I don’t own an electric vehicle so I am not familiar with the charging method. But it seems to me that with the drive through charging stations, there would be a traffic jam. What if the vehicle in front charger finished first? Or what if the vehicle in the rear finisher first. Then there would always be an empty station and cause vehicles to have to wait…? 🤷🏽

    • @Mattanimus
      @Mattanimus 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Rear finishes first they can back out. Front finishes first they can drive forward and someone else can back in. In reality they will probably be charging most of them from the same level to the same higher level so each row should finish at the same time.

    • @DaGoat97
      @DaGoat97 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Just like at a gas pump. You back out or back in.

    • @sagecoach
      @sagecoach 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is an efficiency involved because the charging rate is high at first and slows down to the finish. So the average consumption is a better power load in each small group. I suspect a robot will soon handle the plugs and the cars will be driving themselves at this location.

    • @michaeljohnson1805
      @michaeljohnson1805 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@DaGoat97 then why put the arrows in one direction? And why not just put the chargers all in a row like at the charging station on the east side?
