  • In this 169th Video from Classic Car ChitChat, you will see a beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SuperSport. If you found this TH-cam Channel you are certainly a fan of Classic Cars, Classic Car Studios, Classic Car Rescue, Classic Car Shows, Classic Car Auctions, Classic Car Restorations you will love this video!
In today’s video from Classic Car ChitChat you will see the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS a true 138 VIN registered car that was a full frame off restoration. No matter which car you are fan of Chevy Chevelle, The Chevy Chevelle SS, The Chevrolet Impala, the Chevrolet Camaro, the Chevy Corvette or if you just love cars you will certainly love this video.
At the top of the line for the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle, the SS was one of the most highly sought after GM cars of the muscle car era and it still is. Unfortunately, GM was pretty spotty about denoting the cars high-performance heritage in the VIN and body tags which resulted in a lot of cars being rebadged and successfully passed off as an SS. However, with pre-1969 model years, a 138-VIN code made identifying the real deal pretty easy but with cars such as this one being offered by Raleigh Classic Car Auctions the included 138-VIN code is unnecessary. This is 100-percent a true SS car as verified by its VIN and its extensive almost obsessively kept records and documentation.

In case you are keeping Track this is Video # 169 of Classic Car ChitChat Videos!
I hope my Classic Car ChitChat videos make you smile. I do them in my spare time because I truly love cars and my intentions are simply to honour the beautiful cars I get to see and to really understand the passion and love of the vehicle by the driver (or caretaker as Jay Leno would say) of the car. I also understand too that my videos perhaps lack the polish calibre of great TH-camrs like: Doug DeMuro, and of course my favourite Supercar Blondie. I also know that I can’t even come close the quality & finish you get from the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and the boys at Top Gear. I think they use a little fancier equipment than my little iPhone… LOL
    Mission Statement:
My Objective through creating these videos is to shine the spotlight on people who love their vehicles whether it be a car, motorcycle, or even a bicycle…. Bottom line is if it has wheels and you love it then let’s show that passion to the world!
    Equipment Used:
    Camera
    - Just an iPhone 14 Pro Max (Nothing fancy - which proves anyone can use whatever you have handy to make a video… you don’t need really expensive equipment)
    - I also use Insta 360X2 which is perhaps one of the best investments I have made and allows me to capture some really cool 360-degree views and also creates a “drone like” effect with the invisible selfie stick attachment.
Gimbal - DJI OM4 - For that ultra-smooth cinematic look. (To be honest... still not quite sure how to use it but one day I will figure it out!)
Audio - Rode Wireless GO II (I gotta be honest… this is really the biggest investment that was made… I wish there was a cheaper option but after the first couple of videos I soon realized that audio quality is important and hopefully better than the onboard mic on the iPhone!

If you have read this far, then I thank you. As always, I truly appreciate your “thumbs-up”, and by leaving your comments it demonstrates to me that I managed to get you involved and hopefully made you smile. Most importantly when you subscribe to my channel then you are truly acknowledging my effort to help share with others like you my passion and love for “all things that have wheels” and honouring the people who take care of them.
    Thank You
    Kevin

The 138 is the most sought after Chevelles ever produced. So rare and it's fantastic see the owner taking care to preserve this car the way it was intended. Spectacular car and thanks classic car Chitchat for sharing this legendary car with us.

My uncle Ray was a real Chevelle fanatic and always ranted about the VIN code and the one thing that I always remember him saying is "if you ever come across a Chevelle check the VIN. If it starts with 138 that is the one!" This guy knows he has the golden car right here. Wonderful video and thanks for sharing.

A Chevelle that obviously has had a top notch restoration done and kept the period correct aspect on all areas. Nice to see it done to perfection for a change. This car is a true testament to getting it done right.

The 67 Chevelle was by far the best 396 motor and best design. The fact it's 138 is rare. Would you consider selling the car I would be interested.
