I'm one of those "overly fanatical" ones that everyone hates, but I also find some of this "biblical art" distasteful. it kind of cheapens Christianity and makes it seem like it's just a game, or just another fandom. I know most of them mean well, but it kinda comes off as sacrilegious, considering the Bible portrays Christ as the only hope for sinful humanity. We're talking about actual, real, human beings, not just characters in a video game. There is a lot at stake when it comes to religion, and that's why it doesn't blend well with something as casual as a video game.

The thing with omnipotence is that by an omnipotent existing everything else does not have any power. All power comes from one being therefore everyone else has 0. By having 0 power you technically dont make any true choices but in fact the omnipotent one makes every choice of the universe. That is why everything would actually serve his purpose and which is why the omnipotent doesnt see any difference between the 2 sides. As a christian myself, I can say that there is a limit. Stuff in fandoms do not belong in bible. Rick and Morty for example. The creator of Five Nights at Freddy's Scott Cawthon is a full Christian himself. All of his games before FNaF were Christian games that taught children about Christ. The FNaF came in when somebody made a comment about a particular character, but that's not important. Point is, the FNaF Christianity can work if you make it were perhaps a priest is blessing the cursed animatronics to rid it of all that is unholy. The animatronics worshiping Jesus doesn't make sense, and it wouldn't work if they were doing that in a resteraunt either since public areas are not allowed to be religious unless it has something to do with a church due to the subject being controversial. Also, not all Christians are like this. Every Christian has their won beliefs and how they were raised. My family, for example, are all accepting of everybody, including LGBTQ. My grandmother who grew up only in a Christian home and lives a very Christian life were Jesus is involved in everything she does, accepts people for who they are. Does that make us less Christians? No. But like I was saying, somethings do not belong in this Christian scene because they are irrelevant and don't matter once we pass on to Heaven, if that's where we are going.

Some people are offended by the idea of demeaning the Bible by having a lowly My Little Pony reading it. Oh boy. I have so many feelings. Here's the thing. I'm a Christian. I'm also a huge video game nerd. But I've never understood why people feel like they need to try to "convert" fictional characters that they haven't even written to Christianity. First off: nothing you do in a fanfiction will ever be canon, so it doesn't even make a difference in that character's actual "reality". Second off, fictional universes take place in their own realities where things are different from our own. I usually assume that in a given fictional reality, one of those differences is that while [I believe that] God exists in our reality, he does NOT necessarily exist in that fictional one. That's okay - it's fictional. He doesn't have to exist in Sonic the Hedgehog to be valid in our universe. So given that in most of these fictional universes God and by extension Christianity don't even exist... making Christian fanfiction about some character is often not only out of character for that individual, but out of character for that _entire universe_. That's also the reason I've never understood why people hate franchises like Harry Potter because "it thinks God isn't real". I mean... no, not in that universe. But do you really think your children are going to read Harry Potter and actually become brainwashed into believing that Hogwarts is a more valid reality than what their entire upbringing has taught them? It's not that fiction or modern media and Christianity can never cooexist or intersect. I've actually found lots of interesting and fun similarities and illustrations within fictional concepts and Christian ideas. For example, the Triforce can be used as an interesting comparison to the concept of the Trinity, and I've used Overwatch's character Mercy as an illustration to help me understand, of all things, the intended effects of marriage roles as described in the Bible. If you really believe in God and in the validity of the Bible, then you should understand that you don't need to force it into your everyday life and interests like this. It should be organic and natural.

The thing with omnipotence is that by an omnipotent existing everything else does not have any power. All power comes from one being therefore everyone else has 0.
By having 0 power you technically dont make any true choices but in fact the omnipotent one makes every choice of the universe.
That is why everything would actually serve his purpose and which is why the omnipotent doesnt see any difference between the 2 sides. For him there is only his own will (100% of all events) and the will of others (which is exactly 0% of all events)

As a christian myself, I can say that there is a limit. Stuff in fandoms do not belong in bible. Rick and Morty for example.
The creator of Five Nights at Freddy's Scott Cawthon is a full Christian himself. All of his games before FNaF were Christian games that taught children about Christ. The FNaF came in when somebody made a comment about a particular character, but that's not important. Point is, the FNaF Christianity can work if you make it were perhaps a priest is blessing the cursed animatronics to rid it of all that is unholy. The animatronics worshiping Jesus doesn't make sense, and it wouldn't work if they were doing that in a resteraunt either since public areas are not allowed to be religious unless it has something to do with a church due to the subject being controversial. Also, not all Christians are like this. Every Christian has their won beliefs and how they were raised. My family, for example, are all accepting of everybody, including LGBTQ. My grandmother who grew up only in a Christian home and lives a very Christian life were Jesus is involved in everything she does, accepts people for who they are. Does that make us less Christians? No. But like I was saying, somethings do not belong in this Christian scene because they are irrelevant and don't matter once we pass on to Heaven, if that's where we are going.

Oh boy. I have so many feelings.
Here's the thing. I'm a Christian. I'm also a huge video game nerd. But I've never understood why people feel like they need to try to "convert" fictional characters that they haven't even written to Christianity.
First off: nothing you do in a fanfiction will ever be canon, so it doesn't even make a difference in that character's actual "reality". Second off, fictional universes take place in their own realities where things are different from our own. I usually assume that in a given fictional reality, one of those differences is that while [I believe that] God exists in our reality, he does NOT necessarily exist in that fictional one. That's okay - it's fictional. He doesn't have to exist in Sonic the Hedgehog to be valid in our universe.
So given that in most of these fictional universes God and by extension Christianity don't even exist... making Christian fanfiction about some character is often not only out of character for that individual, but out of character for that _entire universe_. That's also the reason I've never understood why people hate franchises like Harry Potter because "it thinks God isn't real". I mean... no, not in that universe. But do you really think your children are going to read Harry Potter and actually become brainwashed into believing that Hogwarts is a more valid reality than what their entire upbringing has taught them?
It's not that fiction or modern media and Christianity can never cooexist or intersect. I've actually found lots of interesting and fun similarities and illustrations within fictional concepts and Christian ideas. For example, the Triforce can be used as an interesting comparison to the concept of the Trinity, and I've used Overwatch's character Mercy as an illustration to help me understand, of all things, the intended effects of marriage roles as described in the Bible.
If you really believe in God and in the validity of the Bible, then you should understand that you don't need to force it into your everyday life and interests like this. It should be organic and natural.
