I want to start off and say that I love techie items like this. I shoot a lot of video and pictures in the backcountry away from outlets and am always looking for a great way to keep my gear powered up. The OUTXE (Outdoor Extreme Energy) 16,000 mAh battery bank has all of the power I would need for at least a weekend of shooting plus it has 4 little LED's on the back panel that act like a flashlight.

I recently purchased two of these devices. I charged them over night and both have a full charge. When I was testing them, after plugging in a pair of wireless headphones both chargers would turn themselves off after about 30 seconds.

You never talked about the solar panel and how long it takes to charge. That’s the biggest benefit with this, solar and a power pack.

I left my outxe in the sun a couple of hours yesterday and all day today and it still isn't charged. It only has one light illuminated. What am I doing wrong? Is it defective?

I first charged my outxe with the wall plug. Then charged devices with success. I then put the outxe in the sun for several hours and the blue charge lights are not lighting? Not charging? Whaat? Thanks John

What would recommend me to do, considering my wall outlet doesn't have the USB port and with the packaging items, that square-sized wall adapter (taking iphone charger as a role-model) doesn't come with the product ? How could I get mine charged fully getting powered up from the wall power source ?

It took a long time. I would say it was over 14 hours for a full charge

Larry Reneau t yeah about that time. I got a different variant from another company on amazon it charges about 7-8 hrs in full sunlight... There is about 100 different companies that use basically the same design in a different skins. But it looks like this model is a bit better quality then most

I have one am so far it's been in sun light for over 100 hrs an still only one bar showing charged. I am not a happy camper with this product

Thanks for your input Ed! The best way is always to charge it via wall our USB outlet. The small solar panel doesn't collect that much sunlight to fully charge this thing quickly

Everyone knows how a battery pack works. The only thing that makes this interesting is whether the solar charging is useful. Discharge the battery pack completely and put it out in the sun to see how many hours or days it takes to recharge the battery pack. 40 bucks for that is way overpriced unless the solar charging is useful. I have no idea from this review whether the solar charging is worth the high price on this.
