    This might work great for me as I live in one of the solar centers of the USA, that being Tucson Arizona.A cloudy day is a rare event here.

    Bigfoot 24,000mAh Solar Power Bank with high-speed USB-C

    FYI- "mAh" = Milliamp-Hour, a unit for measuring electric power over time. mAh is commonly used to describe the total amount of energy a battery can store at one time. It's the easiest way to distinguish the strength or capacity of a battery. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last.

    Awesome video! I just picked up the 20,000k mAh version, and its spot on. Out of the box its charging one of my old phones at about 1% every minute or so. Picked it up for about $55 off Amazon.

      Indeed I do. Got a second one as well (a 10k mAh version to take to work). Both working great so far!

      SleepyDeveloper okay thank you cuz there's like a whole bunch of them on Amazon

    Thanks Tim. Hang it off a pack and charge all day, then charge devices at night. Appears that it would keep up with that.

    I got one - I love it - It my go to charger when I'm going home after a long day. I wanted to buy one for my wife. As of today, Amazon doesn't have this model anymore. But there's a newer model - just more expensive.

    I like to watch your reviews. Regarding the carabiner I would suggest taking 6 to 8 inches of paracord and making a Matthew Walker knot and attacking a carabiner from there😀

    Have had mine for 6 months and really enjoy it. I have numerous Anker products, and enjoy them, however, this one has features that set it apart from Anker. It's shock resistant, water proof, has a light and solar recharging capabilities. It's a great product to have, in my opinion.

      How long does the solar panel take to fully charge on a sunny day?

    • @fredb.3618
      @fredb.3618 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, but I've never fully charged it by solar. I'm sure it's not quick. I just like having that option. Wish I could be of more help.

      @Blakehx 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Amazon's description says
      Please do not take solar as primary recharge source, as the charging speed will subject to sunlight intensity and panel conversion rate, which may take long time (about 100 hours)to recharge. We highly recommend charge the battery pack from electricity source.

    • @EverydayTacticalVids
      @EverydayTacticalVids  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah - it's LONG. charging it inside took like 10 hours so solar is not the best option for charging. That said, I think it's better to have that as at least an option instead of no option when you are out in the field.

    I would put Velcro on the back then attaches better to the pack

    is the solar supposed to charge the power bank itself? I put mine out for 2 days and it didn't charge the power bank itself

      Jade Star exactly. This is the only important question. There are enough power banks on the market so if the solar panel is not really working like most of them. It's bs.

      I had an Anker Solar charger, hung it in my window on a sunny day, and it charged my iPod in less than an hour. Low light charging however is harder

    Will the solar only charge the onboard battery or can it also charge a device at the same time? Let's say if the onboard battery is dead and it's on solar charge mode and you need to charge your phone, will it charge the onboard battery first and charge the phone second or will it do both?

    That's cool! Mine is similar without the flashlight on it, but mine has 300,000mAh and will charge my phone 16.6 times. I use it for my camera equipment and other electronics. It came from Walmart.com for $19. I guess I should do a review on it. I do enjoy your reviews. Keep up the good work!

      If you read the full description It uses lithium polymer batteries with 10,000mAh, so I have to wonder where the 300,000maH comes from

      The solar panel is very weak - I would not count on it. The battery is solid though - I use it often.
