I love Mark and think he’s hilarious but as an Irishman who lives in Dublin it’s very over exaggerated that if you’re English you’re immediately a target to getting attacked. There’s loads of English people living in Dublin and it’s not a problem I think the problem here was his mates attacked a guy who knew some dangerous people not that he was simply an Englishman in Dublin
@Pep Very ironic comment. White English are a minority in London

I live up near Derry but i'd just like to clarify something that Mark said at the start - Yes you're English, but the implication that in some way that makes you a target for violence in Ireland is so 1970's. Things have moved on so much here. Yes, the history between Ireland and England is strained and both Countries will never be on each other's Christmas card lists, but i'd hate for anyone from England to watch this and think that they're be a target of violence if they visited Ireland.

I was born in Ormskirk and then lived in Walton and i am proud to be a scouser, but in listening to Mark he truly loves football and i would class myself in the same bracket, but i love his passion for his team he supports in Utd.
He has my total respect for him, because i feel Mark has a soft spot for Liverpool fc but what i do know is he loves Liverpool's recruitment team and on how we get our business done early and quickly but he also said they always stay under the radar keeping the media guessing and he is spot on.
He does make me laugh especially when we beat Utd 7-0 and when the 7th goal went in that response from him was priceless it really was.

I'm from Dublin, and i can tell you that Dublin is quickly becoming a very dangerous place in the evenings and at night and if you are not very aware of your surroundings and street smart, you'll most definitely be approached. Theres so many gangs and drugs around now that even O'Connell st which is the largest most central part of the city is a no go area past 9/10 O'Clock. If you are new to the area and look like you have any sort of money or have any sort of ego then lads will pick up on it. They'll usually leave you alone if they know you are from Dublin but if you are a foreigner then they'll take advantage of you, and they don't give a shit either. Its quite sad because on one hand theres so much poverty and drugs and homelessness because of the housing crisis but its also ruined the atmosphere because its easy to feel unsafe there. And also Dubs dont take too lightly when people from England visit. But overall, you just have o keep your wits about you like any other major city and then its fine.
