    Telomerase does have a role in aging but not that much there are mostly epigenetic factors in aging.

    It's confusing how does newly formed strand has overhangs, overhangs must be present on parent strand or template strand as, the telomerase adds extra nucleotides to it.

      Red one must be parent strand at the end not, newly formed one.

      32-34 k per month for 2 years and 36k per month afterwords as stipend till 5th year of your PhD.
      You need to find lab and apply for PhD, go through interview process there before selection.
