I love kurasushi! Once I ate there three days in a row, but I had to stop or else I would get sick of it. I can literally fill myself for like 900Yen and it’s so good!!! Plus I love that there’s minimal staff interaction and you get your own space. The booths makes the whole experience more relaxed and private.
The Kura here in Seattle (Bellevue, actually) has an automated robot bring your wasabi dish and drinks. It’s a little bit pricey, but even items with crab salad is real crab, not krab.
I absolutely love Kura in Las Vegas it is amazing though I do agree with some of the comments that were made that Kura is more expensive here in the US. In Las Vegas it is about 3.65 per plate it is on Spring Mountain Road right across the street from Chinatown Plaza
I have no idea if they do the half stuff for Kura here but even in the states, the value isn't too bad considering what you get. I like the one in Bellevue, that's the one we go to the most, I enjoy the little robots that bring you your drinks and stuff they don't send over the belt.
"I've just had some food and I'm going to get some ramen while I wait for my other food to be ready." This could only be said in all seriousness by Mikey 😅
I hope you are aware of what you are doing to me, mister Mike! With all of that insight/intel on what delicious meal options there are to uncover in Japan, how will I not become the most chubby dovey lifeform around?! But still, all my thanks to you for sharing the love of good food! All the best to you!
I've been to the Kura in Pittsburgh. Not as cheap prices as in Japan but after a certain about of plates you get a random prize from a gacha machine above your table.
We have Kura 5 here in the Tysons, VA .... each sushi plate avgs $3.50 each... the also have limited items for a little more and have hand rolls, udon, ramen, fried rice, edemame, fried squid, desserts, etc... every 15th plate u get a prize. Fun concept. Also join rewards to earn $5.00 off coupon.
Funny thing about kura sushi, i live near 3 locations outside of Chicago and i could lterally go Ham on eating sushi there. Also their tantanmen is good too
Mike, do you learn the languages of the countries you go to? Do you pick up vocabulary the more you travel? Or do you just use your phone to translate?
I've been to one in Orlando and one in LA. Kids love it. They always want to put the empty plate in the disposal, and see if a prize ball comes out. 😂 And I think the Orlando one also has a robot for drink deliveries? That's always a hit too.
I saw that burger in a youtube short of this guy who lives in Japan and I would go just to eat that burger, it looks amazingly good and juicy, perfectly charred.

That baby crying when you dropped the pancake bite was perfect timing
Frantically running around eating as much as possible - that’s Mikey. 😂
Eating ramen on a 100+ degree day is chaotic
“The bottom looks as good as the top” proceeds to show us the bottom then edits it out so we never see the bottom
Also the "look at how bouncy this is" and then proceeds to barely touch it with the fork not demonstrating any bounce what so ever
16:36 The "Half" option you chose was for the "Rice amount", not like half as in they give you one piece instead of two.
We love our Kura in San Diego. The game used to distribute little toys. Our kids loved it.

You can choose in Kura half plate for rice option on the IPAD as you don't prefer excess rice, Mike !!

It's so good! Also, what he was saying about kakkigori being hard to find, there's a great one down south in Tukwila by the mall.
It’s a fun experience and we love you have the option to order smaller portions of rice with the tablet.
My friend and I went to the Kura in Dorchester, Massachusetts yesterday! We loved it. The fish-shaped ice cream dessert is fab.
Just anticipate that the food will be better in Japan. 🤣 I do enjoy Kura Sushi in America, but definitely want to go in Japan too!
I absolutely love Kura in Las Vegas it is amazing though I do agree with some of the comments that were made that Kura is more expensive here in the US. In Las Vegas it is about 3.65 per plate it is on Spring Mountain Road right across the street from Chinatown Plaza

As a Chinese person, I'm quite confused too lol the only dan dan mien I've seen are bright red and full of chilli oil 😂
the evolution of the dish changes based on china, korea and japan. the japanese version is more soup based and uses miso as a soup base.
@@Dudewitbowbut most of them that i’ve seen still pretty much uses red chili which makes the red but this one is really unique
As an American I don't really care. I just want to watch food . Mmmmmm.
Me too and I’m not even Chinese! Where is the Sichuan peppercorn and preserved vegetable? Still it looked good.
I was wanted to tried the Japanese pancake that looks so good
"I've just had some food and I'm going to get some ramen while I wait for my other food to be ready."
This could only be said in all seriousness by Mikey 😅
Tried Kura in Sacramento....it wasn't bad....I'll go again 😅
The sushi look so good! Now I want some! 😢
Okay, you got me within the first two minutes with that damn pancake.
OMG, I stay in that area where the burger and ramen shops are! Gonna hit those next Nov for sure.

I've been to the Kura in Pittsburgh. Not as cheap prices as in Japan but after a certain about of plates you get a random prize from a gacha machine above your table.

So amazing
I go to Kura a few times a month in Taiwan !
Mike found the Panda Express of sushi. 😁
Use your first plate on finished sushi as your soy sauce plate.
Mike, do you learn the languages of the countries you go to? Do you pick up vocabulary the more you travel? Or do you just use your phone to translate?
We love Kura in the US! You eat 15 plates and you get a toy
The pancake 🥞 now I want one even tho it’s dinner time here
You need to clarify the AC situation in these places!
We have it here in Washington DC . With a robot also . But I don’t think it’s as fresh and cheap as the one in Japan of course .
I’m soooo hungry 🤤 now ✅✅✅✅💯💯💯💯💯

We go to a Kura in Orlando, so fresh and great selection
I've been to one in Orlando and one in LA. Kids love it. They always want to put the empty plate in the disposal, and see if a prize ball comes out. 😂 And I think the Orlando one also has a robot for drink deliveries? That's always a hit too.

We have a location here in Plano Texas too! It's honestly our favorite spot to go!
half means half rice... not always available (it's a lunch offering)
Hi Mike. Any chance of you going to Vietnam soon?
Mikey, are you getting any rest?! Take care of yourself.
But is it umami?
No it's upapi
Too much carbs for me now, I want more meat.
I saw that burger in a youtube short of this guy who lives in Japan and I would go just to eat that burger, it looks amazingly good and juicy, perfectly charred.
I wish Kura in the US was that cheap! Here in Michigan its $3.65 per plate. Still pretty good and fun for the novelty though.
your channel brings me so much joy! I cant go on all these adventures so i live through you LOL!
150 divided by 2 apparently equals 50....XD
"a burger so rich he is probably friends with Elon musk"
i never wanted to throw a buger in the trash so bad like i did after reading this sentence
You rather eat a Jeff Bezos burger?
You slurp just like Japanese do!
Would love for you to try the a Kura in the US just to see the differences.
How many CARBS AND SUGERS DOES IT HAVE ?

Run don’t walk to Ramen
Finding out that the burger I just ate was laced with undisclosed organ meat would be an unpleasant surprise for me. Mikey seemed to be ok with it 😬
Your sensibilities do not reduce the nutritional value of organ meats.
❤❤🇰🇪
Is “takis-gory” like a snowball? Gelato? Ice cream?
Sometimes you explain things as “this” and I have know idea what that is 🤷🏻♀️
Shaved ice
you don’t “cut” food, you slice food…
I love going to Kura in San Diego
Mike, you need a larger mouth.

WHAT happened to his restaurants? meant to be opening? now he's just eating stuff.
