Extremely helpful video, thanks so much - the big issue I have with MTS on the GX460 is how it’s now available only on the luxury trim. How that makes sense is beyond me - the off-road package should be available on all trims so we can equip the GX460 as off-road ready as possible from the factory. The 4Runner offers MTS on various trims, not just the trd pro.
@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD I’m sure it does - in my case, I got a 2022 without it (as I wasn’t going to spring for a Luxury to take it off-road - lol) and am now looking to try to add the pieces I can - for example, add the trans cooler and the fuel protector. As for MTS, I’d love that but don’t think it can be added aftermarket, even at a Lexus dealer
Sara nTune did a video of the base/Premium trim running up a steep Rocky incline, without much momentum, no issue, no use of MTs. That does it for me :)

I bought my ‘22 Premium Plus in a hurry, I honestly did not realize they removed it this year. I was choosing between a 4Runner TRd Offroad and GX. However, I don’t think regret not having the MTS/Crawl, just think, many older gen Land Cruisers don’t have it ;) the built-in Trac is good enough combined with good driving

If I do upgrade, I’d lose the DAC feature I currently have. What’s your thoughts, would it be worth the upgrade?
so I just found out I can fairly inexpensively add an MTS module to my GX. Do you think it's actually worth doing? Do you actually use the modes and find them useful?

agreed... Lexus seems to struggle with whom their audience is. Also that "design language" stuff might play a role too

@@CeeJay591 I'm not sure about the 2022, but I know on the 2010-2019 you can order the MTS module and install it yourself.

can't wait for the community to figure out part numbers and the ability to retrofit 2020-2023 models that did not come with mts & cc from factory
The MTS is pretty good for what it is. I have it on my 4Runner.

I think it's up to what you desire. Think of it this way: if you don't like the mod you can ALWAYS return it to stock! 😃

My 22 4runner had it. and I used it often but sure I can get away with not having it here

I think in ‘22, they even removed A-Trac on Premium…. Sad, but still ok
atrac should still be there on 22 premium
i have a 23 black line premium, a-trac is there on 4-low
