I literally bought these headphones and the bose active noise canceling earbuds and took the extra stay hear tips and started using them for my soundsport wired earbuds cuz I was tired of the ambient sound leaking in. After doing so I was really surprised just like you as to how much of a bass increase there was but particularly for me I was astounded at how that simple trick made them truly noise isolating headphones!
I stock up on StayHear PLUS tips for all my Bose earpieces.. these tips makes All the difference because it greatly reduces ambient noise for better sound quality. Thanks for the great vid and advice Jose!
Do these Bose soundsport earbuds still work? I've read some reviews saying they aren't very durable. Should I buy these ? If they still work, how long have you had them?
I use the same tips on my soundsports, i work on an assembly line and listen to audio books, these tips are amazing for blocking out a lot of ambient noise. I do have to turn on treble booster on the Eq for both books and music.
Was actually thinking about doing this, but had heard that they would fit onto the earbud properly? But now I think I will head to the website and buy those eartips. Thanks for the review!

I bought a pair of these earbuds and they are great. Unfortunately, my right ear doesn't always sound (it came defective and Amazon didn't want to replace them). But the sound is great. If it weren't for the bad luck I had, I would certainly be 100% happy with them.

What is the difference between normal out of the box tips and stayHear plus? I am asking cause i have just bought Bose soundsports (used). Came with 3 pairs (S,M,L) earplugs and every size i fit is wrong(earbuds are falling out of my ear when i just wear it, no activity).
This is really funny because I'm buying a pair of Bose Freestyle earbuds and this is exactly what I called Bose about today. When I called Bose today I was told that using the silicon ear tips for the sound canceling earbuds that it would not improve the quality of the sound of the freestyle. But I'm going to pick up a pair of the ear tips you did for sure now. Thank you for posting your video, it was most helpful. Phil
Bose SoundSport earbuds with StayHear + ear tips work very well together, there is a big overall sound difference when listening to music, you're able to hear a lot more bass.remote works very well with my note 3 & there very comfortable in your ears.
Know im a little late too the review but would you say these tips block out outside ambient noise as well?cause apparently the bose soundsport are awesome which im still on the fence about buying them do not block out any outside noise at all?
@@joebeta just thought id ask cause ALOT of people in reveiws said that they do not and thats not what there intended too do,however apparently you can get the QC 20 eartips that you can put.on these ones and they will block out alot of sound and they sound alot better and the bass is alot more prominent just by switching too the QC 20 earbuds which look exactly the same as the ones that come with the soundsport ones,thanks for the reply.
+Prxfessional From what I've found out/researched the stayhear ultra tips are just rebranded stayhear plus tips and they will both work on the soundsports. Bose makes it sound like the ultras are unique and wont fit on any of the other headphones but like I said my research indicates otherwise and is just marketing to get you to buy the more expensive pair.
+Prxfessional +Sarah McIntosh A little late but actually, I have tried placing the ultra tips on the Soundsports long ago.. and while it does "fit" it is actually not fully secured and reliable because the earpiece itself has a different shape. So in this case the marketing is actually right.. kinda. Would advise you to go with the Stayhear PLUS.

Yeah Bose make some good stuff. I my self is doing research on new ear buds to replace my Sennheiser CX890i & I'm really taking a hard look at RHA they seem to have some quality stuff at fair prices that is worth a look at. Peace.

The noise isolation is really good and they're extremely durable. I use mine 5 days a week on the train ride to work.
