I am using it right now believe me it worths it. Super good sound isolation , you won't hear outside world
in earphone there is noise cancellation chip or the eartips are designed in that way??? for noise cancelling!!
they are designed to reduce noise. There is no active noise cancellation on those!
These have the weakest sound output in any headphone.. had them all the way turned up and they were barely perfect sounding and that was as high as they go.Mind you I tested them against my skull candys and my skull candys beat the volume output.Returned them and went and got dunu titan 5s
Oh good so I can isolate myself even more from everyone else
I've had three of these. They ripped at the base faster than any other Bose headphone I have had.
JUST THE TIP
I have these headphones and tbh they do a great job in the noise isolating area but they are in no way comfortable to me. I have tried all the sizes and at first there's no problem but after a while they would start hurting my ears. I don't know if other people are having this same problem but it was upsetting to me since I'm a fan of Bose products. Also the bass is not as good on these, it is noticeable but it's not enough imo. I'll be returning these and probably go for the regular soundtrue earphones or soundsport. Prefer comfort and more bass over sound isolation.
If you're like me and have the regular soundtrues, you can buy the replacement stay hear ultra tips and use them on the regular soundtrues

I take city busses which can get pretty dam loud. I need something with loud volume, but great sound quality. I also need durability. Are these better than the original sound true earbuds?
I have both BOSE SOUND TRUE ULTRA and SOUND SPORT but i recommend Bose Sound Sport because sound sport is more flexible and best sound quality.
Do these sound better than the qc20?
Can you listen to music with these ?
is this one for apple?
God I don't particularly like the Bose sound signature with their in ear products but these look worth it for the comfortsbiltiy and finally noise isolation.
Hi guys.
Just want to share my thoughts about the older model, the soundtrue. They are THE best in ear i ever owned by far. The sound is so clear an natural. I have the sennheiser ie momentum which dont sound as good and the cord has has splitt open in 2 locations and now the dont work anymore, peace of shit considering i have not had them long and bose are still as new even though they have been misstreated and tortured for a mutch longer period, i am impressed. Recently i also bought the sony 650 ie which sound allot better than the momentum, but not as good as bose. I must say when i compare them its like placing some kind of a layer to the sound on the sony and sennheser while on the bose its so damn good. For me its like 2 normal girls with heavy makeup to make themselves beautiful while with the bose its natural beauty shining trough which cannot be matched. If you can get the older model go for it, they also have better bass. You can just buy the soundtrue ultra silicon ear things separate and they fit the older ones for better noise isolation :)

I had the sennheiser momentum ie aswell, broke in about 4-5 months, pretty disappointing
i guess the product industry fails if the earphones don't ;)

well noe that sennheiser is broken i will not be buying anymore of that make, same as sony mobile phones after major problems with xperia z5 compact. Now i have bought 3 and soon 4 pair of bose in ear headphones and given one away as a gift. I also recommend people i know about them. In totall for me bose got my cash due to quality, sennheiser fooled me once.

Bought this the other day, the volume was way lower than my soundtrue Bose headphones but I just changed the eq and made it louder

those who compain about Bose being too flat clearly don't know how to properly use an equiliser and probably shouldn't bother spending so much money on audio that they can't appreciate.
Can you just fit regular earbuds on it whenever and if so does it effect the sound quality much??

Bose caters to Apple users because they know they enjoy blowing their money on overpriced and/or outdated products.

howardkevinm Umm not really, it works on the TSSR pinout where on apple T is the ground and S1 is microphone input and the other two S2 & R and the audio channels. The only main difference between both is the T and S are switched around on most Android phones and it really shouldn't make a difference between both platforms unless you have like a Samsung phone or an old Nokia phone where they completely changed the pinout...

these break super fast. had them for 3 months and the cords rubber is broken at the connection jack area.
True but if you walk in to a store they will hand you a brand new pair and reset your warranty. I thought they improved the cables but I guess not :(

they actually charge you 200 bucks for the second pair if you complain..

i had these headphones wasn't too impressed, they sounded fine but i did not like the suction cup tips and the plastic chip that the silicone ear tips hooked on broke off and rendered one-side useless
the wire covering chips and comes off eventually. there are better headphones in the same price range IMO
I had the same problem. The sports models seem to be more durable.
+Jakkilinki Srujan The ultras have a new, sturdier and less grippy cable. That issue is covered under the 1 year warranty and if it's past 1 year you get a discount towards a new pair, including the ultras.
what do you reccomend around that price
well it depends on what kind of music you listen to. im using the jaybird bluebuds X currently. check out channels like soundguys.. they give good reviews.

Beardless EarPods are good for free headphones, but they break easily. Trust me I blew all 4 of my EarPods in less than 3 months before they had problems.

Ahmed Gypsy King Adam Bose is one of the best brands in the headphone-world, at least the more expensive ones. Haven't tried these ones yet but i did test the more high-end ones (€300). Those are just phenomenal!
In ear phones are known for causing issues with hearing, better to use Over the ear headphones. Does this look to much like a 2 minute commerical to you?

As a Bose fan, I am very disappointed with these earphones. They are composed of cheap plastic and are very uncomfortable (because of the noise isolation ear tips). I wish they would bring back the freestyles. They were very unappealing to the eye, but they were very comfortable, durable, and had great sound quality.

Exactly. Got me a pair of Skullcandy Hesh 2 Bluetooth headphones for $70. Great sound quality, comfortable, and good battery life. Best deal around.

I recommend everyone NOT to get these. Building quality is not good at all. The bass is nowhere to be found and if you try to adjust your EQ, you get no volume from them. On top of all, they are very very expensive, look for something else
I got the qc20 and the bass is good. very balanced
They are fabulous! I have to eq out some bass freq, cause they are prominent. I think you aren't able to put them correctly in your years. Payed 70 Euro on Bose site. Big deal! Love first listen, i have 30 day to evaluate or return. I'll never return them!
