"Yet Another Movie" by Pink Floyd is one of the most mystical song ever created! Every time I listen to it, my hair in the back of my neck just stands up! For me, it is one of my absolute favorite song by Pink Floyd together with "Welcome to the machine". The best version of it, is ofcourse from the "Delicate sound of thunder" live album. I just love Pink Floyd. All the best from Johan in Sweden.
This was the first Pink Floyd song that had a complete impact on me, I remember that in the 80's I liked to record radio songs on cassettes, and this sounded and fascinated me, they never said what group it was from, but I immediately assumed from his voice and style that was Floyd, it was the second song I knew from Pink Floyd, the first was the most played on the radio; "another brick in the wall '2". From there it would become my favorite band.
I saw Pink Floyd 3 times; 2 (in the same week) for this tour, 1 for Pulse tour. I'm a musician/keyboardist since 10 years old. I saw lots of concerts. I have to say Pink Floyd come from another planet. This tune is so underated. Great song. Great sounds. Great atmosphere. Pure Pink Floyd.
No, they come from beyond the event horizon of this universe. Without Pink Floyd (I have been a fan for nearly 42 years) I do not think I would have survived the initial onslaught of my life with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelating Polyneuropothy. It was 4 years of hell with my wife kicking me out after the first four years. Pink Floyd soothed my soul...
Not underrated, underappreciated... Every time I play it for people in the PF universe they instantly smile at those opening drums and sweet memories flood back to the fore. Even my niece and nephew love this song. Their dad, who passed away nearly 7 years ago, loved early Floyd and neglected the third chapter of PF indoctrination on them. That fell to me after his death. I still play early and middle PF for them, I just make sure to play the Pulse Live and DSOT albums a little bit more...
This is pink floyd in their musical prime in my opinion, what a performance by all members!!

It was the first song of Pink Floyd I listened to. My father opened for me this band when we were travelling years ago. It's my favourite song. My father died year ago and when I listen to Pink Floyd especially "Yet another movie" I always cry.
Delicate sound and AMLOR was a better album than people give credit for. They just like to bash on it because it kind of proved that Pink Floyd didn't need Waters
just a question, how many official pink floyd live releasing you know or you have? how can you compare this with what was before. floyd are floyd for what in 1967, and again in 1969 and again in 70, 71 i mean all video bootlegs and/or tv broadcasting, as at nassau coliseum 1970. then we have Pompei, a movie for theatres, how it was going at that time. we have nothing later till DSoT. so what we can ever compare? the wall live with this one? animals live tour with the whole dark side and wish you were here played on? are you totally joking? this one, venice, pulse and similar respond only to the new kind of sound of last years. last years began with digital era, with cd, with what was AAD or ADD or DDD, old declinations for today. but the thing was that one
Almost 30 years ago when I 1st watched this on overused VHS with lousy sound and ever worse picture I wasn't thrilled 2 much about it, I had it on double cassette. I was at two of those shows at Nassau Coliseum, including the final one which was a late addition. The tickets went on sale just two days before the show because they decided they wanted to shoot more footage. I had seats just off the side of the stage for the last night and it was absolutely amazing.

Saw Floyd in '94 but the Momentary Lapse tour possibly had the best lighting of any tour ever. Regret not seeing this show live! And I still love the weird etherealness of Side 2 of Momentary Lapse.

The most atmospheric, ethereal song of PF from the Gilmour era, yet one of its most overlooked by the fans! The live version culled out of DSoT is 100x even more so. It's almost as bleeding emotion (if not more so) as "Coming Back to Life" and "High Hopes."
I grew up listening DSoT, and both Yet Another Movie and Shine on you Crazy Diamond, I wanted to see the video of those songs being performed for 30 years. The wait is over and do not disappoint. This song must be something incredible watching being performed!

HUGELY underrated track in their catalogue. Gilmour's work here is both orgasmic and tasteful. Astonishing.
This song is an absolute gem from the post waters Pink Floyd era. A haunting song with mechanical/industrial undertones sung perfectly by Gilmore.
