I'm gonna make a Warren Haynes suggestion to you. Warren put a band together some time back that put out an album and DVD of a live show at the Moody Theater in Austin TX, I think is right up your alley. Regardless of whether you use it in a reaction or not, I believe you'll love it. Haynes has probably forgotten more music than modern day guitar players will ever learn.
Warren and Joe are great friends. Warren was there when joe was in the beginnings of his solo career and gave him advice, etc. Joe just produced Warren's album on Joes KTBA label. You could see how much fun they were having. The King Of The Blues is a competition but Warren and Joe were performing not part of the competition.
Under dueling guitars you can go back and check out Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King jamming. Albert acted like SRV was a snot nosed kid and it was a good time. They played fir about an hour as I recall. Check it out, it was really good

Joe did a great cover of this song with his band and backup singers on his Live at the Greek Theater DVD too.
