This version of cowboy coffee is one of the best I have seen and tried . Been making it my own way for many years , very similar to yours but you use a full bore load of coffee grounds and much stronger than mine . Agreed yours is very rich and full of flavor . Really enjoy your channel and everything about it , especially your mountain country and beautiful forest . Many thanks and best holiday wishes to your and yours .
I like to say finally a hunting video without all the high dollar equipment. Also a coffee drinker. Lol. I also thought about filming for the fun of it. Thanks for being original.
Thank you Sir. And by all means start filming for the fun. it can be a lot of work but so much fun to look back at your misadventures. And oddly enough others also seem to enjoy your efforts!!
Wow, thanks for sharing the secrets for making cowboy coffee!! I like the step-by-step instructions on doing that. I have my father-in-law's old aluminum coffee pot that has no basket for the grounds. I want to use his pot when I am at camp, but never knew for sure how to make cowboy coffee. Appreciate it! Dennis you can get a job as a barista! Lol cowboy coffee good stuff! My grandma always made her coffee like your method but she didn’t strain it pouring it slowly limits the grinds. Thank for bringing back fond memories of my grandma!
Your method differs only a little from my own but I would to try your method, also, I have never thought about the two pot system to get shed of the grounds like that, that just makes so much sense to me, I got try that. I also thoroughly enjoyed your video, watching and listening to you talk was just so relaxing. Good health you and yours my friend, keep the good work
The thing is Dennis, there is no better coffee than camp coffee made out in the woods. I can never get to taste the same as it does when we are at deer camp! LOL I have sub'd to you channel and hope to see more and more good videos! Juddie - J & J TOA
The awning was made by ARB in Australia. They make all sorts of camping and off road equipment. The awning is made in a couple of sizes, and you can get a front wind-sun screen that attaches to it, as well as for the sides of it. I have both. You can also get a fully enclosed tent that attaches to the awning. The tent has full mosquito netting that you can use with the sides rolled up, or you can have complete privacy if you wish. In one of my videos on Utah, and I think it is the one called Valley of the Gods part 2, you can see the awning and a side screen in a hard dust storm. Several of the Utah series has the awning deployed. I will do a complete set up- review video in the near future. If anyone thinks enough of my videos to ask for something, I will try to accommodate. I do recommend ARB highly.
I watched one of your videos of you setting up your camp, I was very intrigued with your awning attached to your van. Can you supply the manufacturer information, I would like to look into one. Maybe do a set up/review video
Sorry it took so long to reply, I just simply did not see your comment. The awning and all the attachments were made by A R B in Australia. I will be doing a video on the complete van set up in the near future.
One of the best videos I’ve seen on cowboy coffee, thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend, blessings

Judie, sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment. I hope you have had time to make yourself a fine cup of Cowboy Coffee.

You certainly don’t have to strain it. And I didn’t for a long time. But by straining it you don’t have to be so careful in pouring it.
I love your channel! I would like to see a video on how you clean your flintlocks. Keep up the good work.
@@chrisoutside283 well Sir, thank you very much. I will see what I can do about that.
Thanks!! That’s the best cowboy coffee I’ve ever made. 😊
Glad you like it. My wife and I drink a ton of it.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
