Great stuff but... could you always cite the part numbers and also use a decent camera / lighting, all that work shouldnt be spoilt by shoddy camera work
I know this is an old question but you should never attach aluminum to steel. Dissimilar metals do bad things to each other. Now, a stainless steel tank would be nice. I really don't get why these componentrs would be placed in such a hellish location...That compressor would not like being submerged, no matter what anyone says. It's just bad engineering IMHO...When I see LR's with snorkels it makes me laugh.
Hi I have a 08 sport with a suspension vault, I’ve replaced the compressor, checked the struts for leaks, replaced a bad door sensor, and no luck. My compressor won’t turn on by itself but I can bypass the relay and manually fill the bags, my toggle switch to control the EAS doesn’t illuminate either, I’ve replaced all related fuses and relays as well.. any idea what my gremlin could be? My compressor won’t kick on unless I jump the relay
I have a 2008 range rover sport hse the rear is completely aired out. Its tucking the 20 inch rims under the rear wheel wells. My compressor turns on when I start the truck for like 20 seconds then turns off and I get Suspendion fault "Normal height only".

Hard to guess but it could be one of a few things. The front air bags have a leak....there is a valve behind the LH front wheel arch this could be stuck ? ... the front ride height sensors could have failed so the car thinks it level ! ...

Hello, my drivers exterior door handle will move in and out but won't open the door. Should it be an easy fix like reattaching a cable or I might be looking into a full mechanism replacement? Thanks
Hi Brill videos I got a preasure static on my tool changed the piston ring would be right it could be the switch on your video I not see you un plug the switch question is is it at front of the tank or rear and can I change it in situ

There is a dessicant cannister in the in-/outlet. The air is dried on the way in and the dries the dessicant on the way out. Air tank failures are actually quite rare. Oh dear me. :facepalm:
It should just start pump up and off you drive. You may need to do this in a couple of goes as the compressor may get hot as it has a lot of pumping to do !

So what about the Aluminium Tank? I need to change my steel tank and am considering a used alu tank. Why did you not use it?

So does the early aluminium tank fit? I have the rusted steel one in my 2006 and would want to replace it with the older alumimium one.

We have the same year RR as you and today the front end suspension just dropped and won't lift at all any tips .. thanks 😊

Hi have same problem but new steel tank discontinued. Does earlier alloy tank fit?.
