  • My 2012 L322 Range Rover was experiencing continuous air compressor run time upon every start up. This video shows how I found the leak at the air reservoir tank and resulting repair.

Hello sir, did you only do the deflate reservior procedure on diag tool prior to removing the line?

Great question! At the time I performed the repair my diagnostic tool did not have that option, so I just bled it manually. No issues encountered. Best of luck!

@@sliceoflife1821 All done, it definitely seals up the tank now! Thank you for showing the leak! It was very helpful. After repairing, I feel more confident in troubleshooting the EAS. The system is quite basic and people take it more of an issue than it really is. I used a leftover spare a/c line o-ring from a box bought at autozone. By the looks of it, this o-ring seems like a common issue as L322s age based on how it is fitted.
The fitting has no indent for the o-ring to sit in. It literally seals between the head of the fitting and the tank. It's a bit baffling to me since o-rings are usually fitted inside the lines (e.g. a/c and power steering lines). As the o-ring gets deteriorated over time because of this design, the issue will arise again. I would give it no more than 5 years before this fitting starts feeling questionable again.

Way to go! Glad the video helped you out and I agree, this will probably require replacing again in 5 yrs. Great points on that o-ring fit! You just saved yourself tons of money and have more confidence for the future. Enjoy the high!
