Hehehe, I can feel the dirt in my eyes when watching these videos. :) Fun to get it fixed but being out driving is the goal. :) Thanks for watching! :)
Thanks man appreciate that. 👍😁 I think regular cleaning and checking that there are no stones jammed between the reservoir and the chassis will prolong the life a great deal. 😊
I just watched this big company doing the same. You did it with more understanding of the vehicle...to release the air they were disconnecting pipes at the front arch. Your method is easier and makes more sense.
Thank you so much. It really makes it worth while making these videos when I get feedback like this. 👍😊 I try my best to make it understandable in a way that I would understand it my self if it was the first time doing it. 🔧🚗
Excellent Video! I do like when the WHOLE process is shown, it certainly gives me the confidence to do mine. It's probably a good idea just to remove the tank, clean it all up, and protect the the area with some rust prevention product (Dinitrol/Waxoyl) anyway, before it starts leaking. Thanks for this most informative video, look forward to the rest!
Thans Guy, really appreciate it. Yeah, If I knew it could get this bad I would have done it before. just 4 screws, and if you disconnect the air pipe at the valve block hiding under the compressor cover, you don't have to remove the voss connection on the tank. Just feed the pipe over the body mount. 2 videos more out now. 👍🙂
Hahaha, I was just going to.. And then I did some more. 😅😅 Crocks gets used every day. I even got two pairs, one for downstairs and one for upstairs terrace. 😂😂
Thank you! 😃 I do my best with the English and I like to make the videos detailed enough so there is as little doubt of what to do when you watch it. 👍😊 We have English as our second language at schools in Norway and starting from my age people often have a fairly good vocabulary.
Hehe, you can’t go around knowing where everything is, I didn’t before I went looking for it. 😉 Smart to do an inspection now and again, can save you from rust and having to get a new one. 👍 Simon
Hey, February is a great time to be in Norway. A bit cold and dark but the weather and skies are so clear so some great views can be had and enjoyed. If you just drop the tank down and inspect it, maybe drop it into a tub, without disconecting the tube, you can check. But if you don't know how old your tank is and it's rusty I would recommend changing it. Quick job to do and a lot of good feeling afterwards. 👍🙂
Haha, Yeah should get some proper work boots with a steel cap. 😊 I was only out in the garage to make it ready for the next day so footwear was not on my mind. 😁 Glad you like the video, I make the videos as real as possible and showing all the hardship as I feel some how to videos don’t provide.
Tip rergarding removing such pipes. Make sure that when you are undoing or tightening the nut, make sure the pipe does not turn, otherwise you risk damaging the pipe.
Very informative and good to see it in real time. The previous owner of my D2 removed the air suspension and had springs put in so I don’t have that problem but all the other components were left intact if I want to go back to original spec. 💰🙏🏽🦘🦘
Thanks for the video. Well done. Question: when you put it in Build Mode, can you disconnect the ID Gap Tool and will it remain in Build mode after when you start it and drive it?
Any questions? let me know in a comment. 👍😁 Feedback? Let me know in a comment. 🤙
Good & clear camera work, well done on safe working practice.
Thank you William! 😊 Always great with straight to the point feedback. 👌
Realistic! I almost felt the sand trickling into my hair and ears while watching your video.

Very helpful vid. A Great plan and Great lighting made the difference. TY.
Thank you Carl! 👍😊
thank you for this good video. Fortunately, I don't have to do the job yet, but one day mine will also leak. This video is a great help.
Thanks man appreciate that. 👍😁 I think regular cleaning and checking that there are no stones jammed between the reservoir and the chassis will prolong the life a great deal. 😊

Great video showing pro tips on bolt removal. Very educational and shows what to expect when tackling those dreaded rusted bolts!!
Thanks man, appreciate that a lot. 👍😁
That was tough but you made it. Thanks for the video.
You are welcome! 👍😊 Thanks for watching, much more on the channel so remember to subscribe and hit that notification bell. 😉
Helped very much when I needed to do the same on mine, thank you.
Thank you Simon! 😊 I’m glad it could be helpful. 👍
nice video gotta love the safety crocks lol
Hahaha, I was just going to.. And then I did some more. 😅😅 Crocks gets used every day. I even got two pairs, one for downstairs and one for upstairs terrace. 😂😂
Thanks for that. Very useful indeed.
Hey man and thank you for letting me know! Makes it all worth it! 👍😊
Very useful video, I think I need to do mine!
So glad it helped. 👍😊
Great video , very detailed and helpful. Must be hard when English is not your native tongue but very well done . 👍

Great video - Good Job - Why did you decide to remove the tank ? - What led you to believe you needed to replace it ?
I could hear the leak. 😅😅 Not a good day. 😂
Another excellent video 🔧👍
Thank you! Cheers! 👍🙂
I DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT WAS THERE THANKS

Nice video, about to do the repair now thanks to your guidance! Much appreciated. 👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Glad it helped. :) Why I make these garage videos. Not for the views but to help out others that come across the same issues as I. 👍🙂
Good video.
Thanks man, appreciate that. 👍😁
Driving from the UK to Norway in February, I think I'll change it just in case. Letting the air out manually is the way I'll have to do it.

A good and informative video. Glad to see you changed your footwear 😉
Which hand held lamp is that?

@@LandRoverDrive Definitely keeping it real works 👍🏼
Tell me about the work light you use?
(aka @scandilandefender)

Great tip. Yeah I guess the pipes can get a bit brittle over time too. 👍🙂
Nice vid. What IDD tool do you use? App and connector please. Thx.
Hey, I use the IIDtool bluetooth version. Gap-diagnostics who makes them I think. Works really well.
@@LandRoverDrive Hello Matt so ,i buy this IIDtool and then the download come with the box ? I'mRight ? Thank you ,Jean
Hi! i removed the compressor for repairing it,it works fine but i still get the " suspension fault " message..! do i have to rearm? or reset?
What’s the status on your compressor? If you have/had a leak the compressor would run a lot and could be the issue now as it worn out.

Nice, good thinking. And thank you for the feedback, appreciate the feedback a lot. 👍😁
Thanks for the video. Well done. Question: when you put it in Build Mode, can you disconnect the ID Gap Tool and will it remain in Build mode after when you start it and drive it?
Hey, yeah it will remain in build mode. You have to do the same prosedure again to turn it of. What are you thinking? Off-road?
@@LandRoverDrive Yeah, I was wondering if it would work..., thanks!
Why ar you selling the Defender ?
😳😳 Time will show. 🤙😊
@@LandRoverDrive Have you decide to sell the Defender then?
Hi. I am in New Zealand, working on my Discovery 3. Can you please give me details on the diagnostic tool, as I want to buy one. Thanks
Hey, I use the iiDTool BT version - Link in the video description. 👍
It's funny how all caution goes out the window on the last bolt. Happens to us all!
Hehe, so true, when you just want things done so you don’t have to think about it no more. 😊😊
