- The Toyota Differential I am using in the All Wheel Drive S550 Mustang project had to get modified to interface with the oil pan. This video covers the steps required to machine the differential housing and create a pilot for the differential to oil pan interface.
Another Critical step for my AWD 2017 5.0 Mustang GT project, Project Traction.
This is easily one of my favorite series on TH-cam!! Criminally underrated and I'm invested in this project. Here is to hoping the algorithm will blow this channel up because you deserve it!!!! Cheers.

I’m outside of the box like you! Previously, I machined my own high steering arms with Ackerman angle and designed an adapter to install 2x transmissions, 1x transfer case in my old ‘85 Toyota 4Runner.
I love seeing people hot rod stuff like this.

Very nice work! I have been following you since the beginning and I am anxious to see the oil pan mods. I have a Gen3 5.0L out of a 2020 Mustang S550 and it has a very low profile PLASTIC oil pan. Your pan looks deeper than mine... are you using the original pan or did you get an earlier Gen2 (or F150) pan to modify? BTW, I may stop by the Street Machine Nationals to see your progress!
The gen 2, 15-17 mustangs came with a steel pan. That is what I started with.

I feel that diff cover is gonna leak with that narrow of a space for sealant and no bolt.
