If you liked the Arahi 6’s, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the 7’s when you get them! Congratulations for your PB, I’ve ran Brighton Marathon several times, it’s nice finishing by the sea, so you can go for a recovery dip after the race!
I bought these shoes in a ladies size 9 B width. So far I am really happy, to help ease foot pain. I have high aches and my feet don’t roll. I feel my feet are supported and comfortable. I am hoping over time my foot pain from previous cheap shoes will disappear.
I had those Araki 7 I used them to walk 5 miles, and I ended up very sore in my feet and I don't know if I rushed but I returned them to change them for some Gaviota 5 which are very comfortable to walk and then I will try them running.
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience, nice choice, this Arahi version is a bit stiffer, they edge it on weight and performance. The Gaviota is supposed to be plush, how is the ride and comfort for you on that one?
Thanks for your review on Arahi 7. I wear Hoka Mach 6 but I have pronation issues so I've been thinking of trying a pair out, and your assessment is helpful.
I tried the Arahi 7 but have a lot overpronation issues coming from my physical therapist. I got the Gaviota 5 instead and it's going well in the correction.
Love my Hoka Arahi 6s. For a stability shoe I managed a marathon PB on it in Brighton three weeks ago. Look forward to getting Arahi 7.

Extra cushioning with Gaviota too, I bet they are very comfortable, how is the outsole wear on that shoe?
