      Hi, Lars. What is the durability of the Cloudflow and Cloudultra like? Do you run in any On shoes?

    • @RunningXpert
      @RunningXpert  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hey Wayne.
      Right now I am testing the Cloudeclipse, but have barely started, so yes I am running in On shoes at the moment. But the last time I got to test a pair was the first Cloudultra, maybe 1.5 years ago. I had no issues with the durability there, and I gave it a proper beating in the Norwegian mountains.
      When it comes to the Cloudflow 4, which is recently updated, the durability should be improved because of the new outsole with fewer individual cloud elements and a more incorporated design that also inhibits stones from getting stuck.
      As I go from shoe to shoe a lot, I don't get to test pairs of running shoes for longer periods, so I would really appreciate it if other people could give their opinions on this topic as well.
      Hope you are having a nice Black Friday!

      Speed and Mach are just a bit different to what On makes, but I think the Cloudflow might be the closest thing there. It should be a bit firmer than both the Speed and the Mach, but I have heard good things about the upgrade to Cloudflow 4 (haven't been able to try it though).

    Hi, Lars. I'm searching for shoes for road running that are also long-lasting for standing. Could you recommend anything in the On cloud?

    • @RunningXpert
      @RunningXpert  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey!
      There are many from On, and personally I really like walking and standing in On shoes.
      If it was up to me I would probably walk in a Cloudmonster or a Cloudstratus, as they have plenty of cushion, but aren't too soft. The Monster will have more breathability if you like that, and the stratus will have more space for your foot.
      If its a bit too epensive, then plder version are available on our site in some sizes, and the cloudrunner should also be a nice, stable and comfortable option with a lower price.
      Hope this helped. You are welcome to ask more questions :D

      Hey @orrireid4435,
      I hope you have had a great weekend. I would consider the Cloud 5 more a walking shoe than a running shoe, but it will have less support than the Cloudflow 4. So it all comes down to what kind of hold you want a around the midfoot. The Cloudflow 4 will have a stronger grip on your foot, support you more, and would probably be my shoe of choice between those two. But it's all about taste.

      Cloudmonster er også en veldig god vei å gå. Her får du noe du kan løpe litt fortere i, men som fortsatt har litt demping. Men det er fint å fite at den nok ikke vil føles helt så myk som en Clifton 9 vil.

      Cloudflow 4 er nok en meget god til løbebånd og fitness generelt. Den er ikke så blød lidt lavere skumhøjde og et løbebånd giver noget blødhed.
      Hvis du vil have en sko der måske er lidt mere affjedring i, så ville jeg valgt Cloudmonster, da den har en tynd overdel, der ikke bliver for varm indendørs og lidt mere skum end Cloudflow.

      Hey,
      That is a good point. It is a hard thing to suggest though, because some people like a softer shoe and some like it harder. Some want a very comfortable and plush shoe and some like it as breathable as possible.
      I would probably use a Cloudflow 4 for walking because it is light, breathable, and a little firmer. If you like a softer and more breathable one, Cloud Monster would be a great option, and if you want a soft and plush shoe, the Cloud Stratus should be a great possibility.

      I am very aware of the different benefits of running shoes, which could easily be boiled down to comfort, stability, and speed. All aspects that we are talking about in this video.
      In this lineup video, we take care not to go too deep into each shoe and make use of the features as a guide to show the differences between shoes, that in some cases, are very similar.
