I'm a ppf installer. Fyi It takes literally 5 minutes to take the bonnet vents out Its like 4 screws. Do it so you can wrap into and then the edges are covered by the grill fully when installed. 💪
My new lexus just got wrapped in XRPlus Xpel. At pickup there were so many bubbles and loose edges. There were so many imperfections. Installations did not look flawless like this. Paid $4k foe the whole front and back bumper. Called and asked owner if this is normal and he said its still in curing period. After 3 weeks (the inspection) they gonna use heat gun to stick all the loose edges. I just want to know if these are normal and standard PPF process?
So that means your screwed wrapping your car. 1. Either wrapping It completely satin 2. Stuck with orange peel on a brand new car supposedly using gloss PPF?

For a volume shop that clearly doesn’t give a shit about quality, this is good enough. I mean look at how he’s holding and using that squeege FFS 😂😂😂
How easily does it peel off after a couple of years?
Did you do the whole car the fenders look satin as well as hood 🤷✌️🇨🇦
Do u still need ceramic coating on top of the ppf ? I thought the xpel stealth has hydrophobic layers ?
xpel is hydrophilic

No? Just use ceramic coating on the gloss ppf and you will be fine. One should always ceramic cost their ppf anyway
