I learned crocheting and knitting years ago, but like most teens, my patience didn't last long; thus, I never completed anything. I got back into yarnwork a couple weeks ago, and it has been a joy! My initial resolution is to complete at least one piece-almost there as I'm finishing up the legs of Luisa Elephant from Pica Pau for a friend; just need to craft the arms and sew the rest of the other items on. Since I'm nearly done with her, I've expanded my resolution to make Pica Pau friends for my nieces and nephews (15! and as an additional challenge, no repeat animals so that when they play together, each person brings something different to the table) by Christmastime. Anywho, I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel; your videos have accompanied me while crafting Luisa, and I love all the information you bring. I'm definitely getting your patterns (you should add writing a crochet & knitting book to your list!) for the Not So Big Bad Wolf and Three Little Pigs; they're so handsome!

There’s always a sock on my needles…yep, love knitting socks! I just bought Coffeehouse Knits book and have a goal to work through every project inside. I have a favorite raglan sweater pattern and have made three shawl collar cardigans from it. Love knitting baby cardigans as well.

If you find that the socks you selected for your first pair turn out to be a little too much for your first time, I have a few suggestions. I knit my first socks two months ago with a tutorial from The Bakery Bears - Kay Jones. I support them on Patreon and she has an amazing series called Knitting University. I truly do not think I could have done this without those tutorials! Also, check out Crazy Sock Lady on TH-cam and also Earth Tones Girl. I’m on my 4th pair now and, yes they are addictive! I’ve learned so much and think I may be ready to try some of the beautiful knitted toys I’ve seen on your channel! Good luck with the socks and I can’t wait to see how much you like doing them!

Sock knitting: I love knitting socks for me. My feet don’t like commercial socks and would rather be barefoot, but with the right wool, gauge, and fit, my feet are soooooo happy. The standard is to knit them with negative ease, but I knit them with almost 0 ease. I try them on as I go to ensure the best fit. Keep plugging along on your designs. I love projects that combine both crochet and knitting.
I can't wait to learn to knit socks! I know my feet would like them too!! Still working away at the pattern! I'm enjoying tweaking it to make it just right! 💖
My bucket list is huge... I have over 60 patterns that I've purchased over the years, saying, "that is soooo cute! I HAVE to make it." Then the next cute thing comes along. A few years ago, I made a blog post with a 100-point wanna make list. I should revisit that and see how many I've made. I also have page after page of design ideas... And lists of best-selling items I need to remake for my Etsy shop. So many projects... So little time! 😂
I don't have 6. But I want to relearn how to knit a blanket, finish one of my gigantic blankets, and make a life size crochet Pokémon. Probably a Charmander or a Snivy.

I totally get all of those fears!! It's the reason why I really haven't done more designing. I think the thing we have to do is to not let the "what if" worries stop us from sharing our creativity. It's definitely not easy! ❤

It is a spiral granny square pattern that is just gorgeous! I also have several classes I want to take to improve my sewing and embroidery so I can incorporate those techniques into my crochet.
Such lovely patterns, I have just completed a little family of jellyfish....my first amurgurumi.....they were great fun.....I am currently knitting my first item which is a jumper....I am enjoying it so much....my next project will be socks....I will be brave and just go for it......good luck with your socks Elise....x

I have three on my bucket list, all by Alan Dart. He is a British toy designer who sells knitting patterns on his web site for more complex designs. They're all listed on Ravelry I think. 1. Hot Cross Bunny - furry bunny wearing chef's uniform and toque and holding a large hot cross bun, 2. Night Owl - owl wearing a nightshirt and stocking cap holding his teddy bear 3. Bunty Baker - wearing an apron and a chef's hat and decorating a cupcake from an icing bag.
Oops - I forgot two more of his designs. Heatwave Hippo is wearing a swimsuit, bow, and sunglasses while sunbathing. Kitty's Knit Klub has five cats all knitting or winding yarn or holding baskets of yarn. So cute!

My goal for the past 2 years has been to learn how to knit socks. Of course, life and other things have intruded, and I still haven’t started. I’ve never knitted, so this will be a major challenge for me!

My list is as follows: 1. Make more Ozzie ostrichs. He is still my favorite pattern I probably made 10 this year for customers and I can't get enough 2. Learn how to make more textured stitches and to learn in Afrikaans-my own language. I learned to crochet in English 3. I want to get reacquainted with knitting. I learned to knit when I was 4 but I haven't touched a knitting needle in 12 years. 4. I want to work on time management I really struggle with it. I haven't done much of what I wanted to do in months because I have been focusing on completing orders.

Absolutely love your piggy and the bi-craftiness of it with it using both crochet and knitting. My bucket list includes and ever growing list of wanna-be projects. Here are some of my “most wanted.” - I want to make all of the Knitted Animal Friends by Louise Crowther. So far I have made the owl for my 88 year old father-in-law, the pig for a farmer friend, and a girl and boy horse to decorate my newly acquired dream camper. I have the yarn for the ram (for a baby gift) and the dog dressed in patriotic colors for my daughter who is going in the navy. I want to finish the dog to send in a care package when she is in training after boot camp. - I also have the yarn for Claude the Seagull (I want to use the adaptations you did.) This will be for my friend who has a bay house on the Chesapeake. - Yarnspirations has a beautiful pattern for a Knit Triangles Hexagon Blanket. I purchased this yarn some time ago and plan to make this blanket to keep us warm and snuggly when camping in the fall. - I have taken up the sock knitting craze. I always have a sock going. My bucket list sock I get excited about is doing a scrappy striped sock using up all my sock yarn scraps. - I have been knitting for 5 years and crocheting for 3 years, but I have never made myself a sweater. I want to try the Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits for my first knitted sweater. So many projects, so little time . . .

It was about 6 inches, apx and I wanted this bunny so bad but my dad would not give it to me because he loved it and was made in the 50s or 60s? Anyway, I was on a persistent mission to get that bunny 🐰 so every day I would call him and say” hi dad, can I have that bunny”? This went on for months!!!!! Finally, he said “ …… darn it, come and pick it up!!!!! The very next day, hopped 😆😆😆in my car and drove 2.5 hrs to pick it up and still absolutely love it!!!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕

Sock knitting: I love knitting socks for me. My feet don’t like commercial socks and would rather be barefoot, but with the right wool, gauge, and fit, my feet are soooooo happy. The standard is to knit them with negative ease, but I knit them with almost 0 ease. I try them on as I go to ensure the best fit. Keep plugging along on your designs. I love projects that combine both crochet and knitting.
I can't wait to learn to knit socks! I know my feet would like them too!! Still working away at the pattern! I'm enjoying tweaking it to make it just right! 💖
My bucket list is huge... I have over 60 patterns that I've purchased over the years, saying, "that is soooo cute! I HAVE to make it." Then the next cute thing comes along. A few years ago, I made a blog post with a 100-point wanna make list. I should revisit that and see how many I've made. I also have page after page of design ideas... And lists of best-selling items I need to remake for my Etsy shop. So many projects... So little time! 😂

Love the pig. Try the crazy sock lady for socks. She is excellent teacher. She also makes you want try different needles in making socks. I reed magic loop years ago just couldn't get it. Watched her sock camp demo and now that is all I want to use. Love your podcast.

I totally get all of those fears!! It's the reason why I really haven't done more designing. I think the thing we have to do is to not let the "what if" worries stop us from sharing our creativity. It's definitely not easy! ❤

Such an inspiring video! Thank you so much!! My bucket list includes a blanket/afghan for each of my 3 children. I have the yarn and pattern for the first. It is a spiral granny square pattern that is just gorgeous! I also have several classes I want to take to improve my sewing and embroidery so I can incorporate those techniques into my crochet.

I have three on my bucket list, all by Alan Dart. He is a British toy designer who sells knitting patterns on his web site for more complex designs. They're all listed on Ravelry I think. 1. Hot Cross Bunny - furry bunny wearing chef's uniform and toque and holding a large hot cross bun, 2. Night Owl - owl wearing a nightshirt and stocking cap holding his teddy bear 3. Bunty Baker - wearing an apron and a chef's hat and decorating a cupcake from an icing bag.
Oops - I forgot two more of his designs. Heatwave Hippo is wearing a swimsuit, bow, and sunglasses while sunbathing. Kitty's Knit Klub has five cats all knitting or winding yarn or holding baskets of yarn. So cute!

I've been a crocheter since I was little, and every time I've tried knitting I get very frustrated and go back to crochet.
Knitting just feels so slow to me compared to crochet, but I would love to learn how some day! That's my crafting bucket list goal!
Maybe try continental knitting, it's harder to learn at first, but than it's faster!

For my bucket list it's 3 Dot pebbles patterns that I'm very excited about! 🙂 I already knitted the free easter bunny pattern who ended up flying overseas with my friend who will study there!

My list is as follows:
1. Make more Ozzie ostrichs. He is still my favorite pattern I probably made 10 this year for customers and I can't get enough
2. Learn how to make more textured stitches and to learn in Afrikaans-my own language. I learned to crochet in English
3. I want to get reacquainted with knitting. I learned to knit when I was 4 but I haven't touched a knitting needle in 12 years.
4. I want to work on time management I really struggle with it. I haven't done much of what I wanted to do in months because I have been focusing on completing orders.

I also hate when I drop a stitch and I avoid it like the plague. I do feel much more confident now when it happens and can correct it, but my heart always beats just a little faster when I'm fixing it. I'm so glad you liked the projects! 🍄💓🌻

My bucket list includes and ever growing list of wanna-be projects. Here are some of my “most wanted.”
- I want to make all of the Knitted Animal Friends by Louise Crowther. So far I have made the owl for my 88 year old father-in-law, the pig for a farmer friend, and a girl and boy horse to decorate my newly acquired dream camper. I have the yarn for the ram (for a baby gift) and the dog dressed in patriotic colors for my daughter who is going in the navy. I want to finish the dog to send in a care package when she is in training after boot camp.
- I also have the yarn for Claude the Seagull (I want to use the adaptations you did.) This will be for my friend who has a bay house on the Chesapeake.
- Yarnspirations has a beautiful pattern for a Knit Triangles Hexagon Blanket. I purchased this yarn some time ago and plan to make this blanket to keep us warm and snuggly when camping in the fall.
- I have taken up the sock knitting craze. I always have a sock going. My bucket list sock I get excited about is doing a scrappy striped sock using up all my sock yarn scraps.
- I have been knitting for 5 years and crocheting for 3 years, but I have never made myself a sweater. I want to try the Flax sweater by Tin Can Knits for my first knitted sweater.

I have a funny story to share.
About 20 years ago my dad had a mechanical bunny with tambourines.
It was about 6 inches, apx and I wanted this bunny so bad but my dad would not give it to me because he loved it and was made in the 50s or 60s?
Anyway, I was on a persistent mission to get that bunny 🐰 so every day I would call him and say” hi dad, can I have that bunny”?
This went on for months!!!!! Finally, he said “ …… darn it, come and pick it up!!!!!
The very next day, hopped 😆😆😆in my car and drove 2.5 hrs to pick it up and still absolutely love it!!!!!!
