I’m new to this channel, as a 32 year old who had forgotten the game, I suddenly find myself reviving those moments, I can’t believe the sims 2 is 17 years old 😱😱 I was 15 when I bought it, and I feel proud of Gen Z talking about this game, for some reason society made us guilty as we grew into adults, about playing videogames, not just the sims, but lately I wonder _“what was so wrong about it???”,_ at the end of the day, I taught my little Gen Z cousins to play sims 2, when they were little kids to then find out the game taught them ABOUT LIFE, they later got sims 3 and went to college IRL just like I forced them in the sims 2, lol, videogames are NOT bad & I feel like that’s what they had wanted us to feel, guilty, for “wasting our time”, instead of wasting it somewhere else? but don’t worry Gen Z, there’s absolutely nothing wrong and if I could go back and play the sims 2 again instead of investing on my future like i was supposed to, I would still choose the sims 2 over and over and over again, my virtual family brought me so much happiness and looking back, I remember them with LOVE, they weren’t real? Maybe not, but in my head they were real & my other family
Hi, I recently discovered your channel and I’m really loving this series so far! :) I like the way that you play and tell the sims’ stories, and also your headcanons about the characters. I feel quite compelled to start playing Riverside myself after watching this! :)
Yass I'll never get tired of TS2 gameplays. I'm glad I found your channel. I watched Pleasant Sims testing the Riverview but she only played at Don's household, so I didn't really get to know the rest of the families and I don't really have time to play more than one neighborhood myself. I really like that you're very thorough and come up with stories for the sims. About the college talk, i started university already being 20, because I went to technical high school and it lasts longer than "normal" high school in my country. Sometimes I wish I started earlier but who cares, at least unis are free here xd

some of the hairs are full mesh replacements or just cc (like Melissa's, Danielle's and Macey's), but some other replacements are indeed Maxis meshes but with different texture. i get all of my cc hair from here and this is also where i found the texture-replaced defaults that i think you're talking about: nhs-archive.tumblr.com/ apologies if this isn't what you meant!
Is there a mod for putting leftovers away as multiple single meals, not as a full bowl? My Sims always have to take the bowl, take one meal and put the rest back to the fridge 🙄😂

you can go into CAS and roll the genetics pacifier or just the sim randomiser a couple of times before a new baby is born, or you can use the FFS lot debugger (mod object) to do it for you, or you can use the Sims2RPC launcher (but i have never tried that and i'm not sure it works with the ultimate collection)

You should look into rolling the pacifier
