Hi if my screen resolution is higher than 1920 x 1080, can i bump up the game's resolution also even higher? ex my screen is 2560 x 1440. Thank you!

what if i just move graphics rules.sgr on deskop and change it and move it back

ive tried this multiple times and it wont work :( i tried on fun w pets and also my most recent pack just to make sure i did the right one, but no matter what i do it wont work. I even tried Graphics Rules Maker but no other screen size options show up in game

Please, whenever i try to create a sims its doesnt work and ends up saying applications crash and terminated. I cant create sims amd i cant open and play any household

omg no the camera drives me crazy, i cant go up and down wow i didn't even know they stopped aging when they're pregnant T-T I must admit, it's the second time i try playing the sims 2 and it's a bit hard to get into it since i'm so used to the sims 3. I feel a bit lost and not confortable yet, it's like getting out of my comfort zone.

If anyone's still watching this tutorial in 2024: Use CTRL + H to do "Find & Replace" instead of CTRL + F for "Find" on the Smooth Edges step. Then put in "enumerateMultisampleLevels false" in the Find box and "enumerateMultisampleLevels true" in the Replace box. Then click Replace All. No need to go doing it one by one. Also, mucking around with security permissions on files is a bad habit to get into. Not so dangerous in this case but change the wrong permission on the wrong file and you can lock yourself out of Windows. Instead I recommend right click on Notepad in the Start menu and click "Run as administrator" then find the file by going to "File > Open" in the Notepad menu, rather than finding the file in Explorer first and then trying to open it with Notepad. Then you have the right to save the file from the beginning without needing to muck about with permissions. Although this is only a problem if your game is installed in the Program Files folder.

@Pixuou. please help I did and followed everything you showed and mentioned in your video but my game still crashing and also said there's files have been deleted from the game. and it was also saying my sims 2 isn't installed on my pc system when it is. I have also been getting pink flashing on objects what should I do?

I've done this before, with a professor I moved in with a sim from Veronaville. He was romance, so their relationship eventually fell apart, but I found that he kept getting a lot of expensive stuff from dates, so he never had to work! I should go back to playing him. It's been years, haha :)
