My mom in her eternal selfishness had me anyway and subjected me to the same abuse, chaos and dysfunction the other 3 were subjected to. Sounds like so many selfish women, never thinking about anything but themselves....not even their children, just like the sky waitress. @calogerocapicchioni6554 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

@MisterB A lot of people get angry when they get called "selfish." But, when you look at the outcome, it speaks for itself. I always thought it was weird when I've heard women (and men) say, "My baby is a blessing. But, the raggedy person that I had it by was a mistake. I can't stand my baby daddy because he ain't shit. I wish I never met him. I shouldn't have had sex with him because he ain't worth a damn." But, if the child comes from the father (because he's the one who ejaculated) and shares 50% of his DNA.... if the baby daddy is a mistake… then his ejaculation (child) that came out of him would have to be a mistake too. Because if she never had sex with him, she wouldn't have gotten pregnant, and given birth to one of his seeds, and then... there would be no child. By calling him a "bad choice/mistake" it seems like it's indirectly saying that the child is a mistake without actually coming out and directly having to say it. It's like being filled with regret over the entire situation.
The only reason why people don't want to say it is because it's a way of emotionally protecting the child... like a defense mechanism. If there was no child, people would have no problem with calling their bd/bm a mistake without feeling bad about it. Things are different when you share DNA with somebody. It has always seemed kinda weird to me because any way you slice the situation…the child is the outcome of that choice… and there'e really no getting around it or trying to separate it from that choice/outcome/baby daddy. It's like trying to tap-dance around it because the guilt is overwhelming. It's word semantics and sugarcoating to "pretty it up". But you have to read between the lines. It's like saying, "The apple seed that was planted was a mistake/bad choice. I hate the apple seed. I wish I never planted it. F*ck the apple seed. But, the apple is a blessing. I love my apple, but I wish I never planted that rotten apple seed. That seed ain't sh*t. But, my apple is a blessing that came from that raggedy apple seed. And I wouldn't have it any other way." But without the apple seed, there's no apple? Can't really have one without the other? If the apple seed was a mistake, the apple itself wouldn't exist? It would be like a Christian saying they love Jesus, but they have hatred for God and the virgin Mary? It's like a Muslim saying they love the Quran, but hate Muhammad? If you get my drift... Honestly, the kid is the only true victim. And it might sound messed up, but the child is only going to be the collateral damage of that decision and will feel the burn of it.

@@jamalmatthews4854 Appreciate it bro! I'm not even trying to be mean, but it has always sounded like they are trying to rationalize something that can't be rationalized. I never paid much attention to the single motherhood issue and being "selfish".... until I started watching these podcasts. I've even started noticing it within my own family. Don't get me wrong. There are some extreme circumstances where a woman is forced into single motherhood. But, most of the time, it is a choice. Widows do not make up the overwhelming majority of single mothers.
It's truly only a way of emotionally protecting the child. I've noticed it more from single mothers making those type of statements. They will say that their baby daddy was a mistake or a bad choice, but that the baby is a blessing. It's only because they don't want to admit that getting pregnant was a mistake and it's selfish. They don't want the child to feel unwanted or like a mistake. But, when you look at the outcome of the situation and the way they describe their baby daddy.... that's exactly what it is. You can't say that your child's father is a mistake/bad choice, but the child is a blessing. The child came out of him (literally). So, if he didn't exist, her child wouldn't exist either. So, by default... the child would also have to be a mistake. They will never say it out loud though. If you've ever heard single mothers say these types of things, they are lying and trying to sugarcoat reality and downplay how bad it is. Let me rephrase that. It's selfish to get pregnant by an unworthy man who wasn't even good enough to marry. And if the relationship was already "toxic", then what good will come from purposefully bringing a child into that type of situation? Why tie yourself to that man permanently? And deal with him for 18 years through the court system or 18 years of coparenting... with a man you consider to be a mistake? Can't make this stuff up.

    • @calogerocapicchioni6554
      @calogerocapicchioni6554 2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

@T Bennett Exactly. But, a lot of women with that mindset will never see it that way. Truth be told... a lot of these single mothers are too far gone to help. Because they refuse to listen and have no self-accountability. There's also a difference between being a single mother due to circumstance versus choice. (i.e. a widow would be a single mother due to circumstance). Kevin is trying to get these women to understand that by purposefully having a baby out of wedlock by an unworthy man who wasn't even good enough to marry.... it will only make her life harder (and make dating/marriage) harder as well. Because the next man who enters into that situation will be paying a higher price than the baby daddy.
The man who got her pregnant was able to not only have sex with her, but she pushed out an unworthy man's seed for a man who didn't even have to wife her. Most men (with common sense) would not want to blindly enter into that type of situation with a woman who has no accountability. Because the only one who will suffer and be the collateral damage of that decision is the child. The outcome speaks volumes of how selfish it is to do such a thing. And the sad part is that some people will still try to convince themselves that "things happen" or "the situation will work itself out." It's like a defense mechanism because they are living in denial and don't want to acknowledge there reality that they are living. So, they sugarcoat it to make it sound better than what it really is.

She thinks she can turn this mentality on and off, just like they think their femininity can be conditional. If she's selfish now, she will be selfish in the middle of marriage once the honey moon period wears off, or anytime things aren't going the way she wants. She'll just make everything about herself cause that's all she's about.
At 30, and after 6 years of being a mother, the fact that she hasn't matured to having this understanding is something else. She's not even smart enough to hide it. If you're vetting a woman, and you ask her why she waited till 32 to start dating with intention, and she tells you I had to spend the the last 2 years in a selfish phase, RUUUN! This is who she is. They don't get better, and less selfish and less demanding as they get older. Quite the opposite. Time is running out for her and she showing she has no sense or maturity.
Also run from any woman talking this pie in the sky nonsense about manifesting and law of attraction. You let her into your life, she will destroy it with this crap. She'll spend all your money on designer bags and red bottoms, then when you demand she stop, she'll tell you she's going to manifest your money back, and the bag that is for her, is for her. It's her destiny. No joke. This is literally how these people conduct their lives.

No man should ever consider having a serious relationship with a single mother, period (for more context, he's NEVER been married, nor has he had any significant amount of relationships, does not have children, either).
The biggest issue with modern women is that they believe a man has no inherent value by himself.
They think a man's real value comes after they get into a relationship with a woman - which is an absolutely insane train of thought that society in general has ingrained into women's minds.

Women prime years are between 19 to 28 to lock down a good man. After 30 you are gambling, and after 33 women don’t have no physical value to a man if he wants kids. After 33 she is set in her ways and won’t change. Dealing with single mothers that are 30 plus is a bad deal. They don’t want to have your kids but wants you to be responsible for there’s. It’s so sad how destroyed these sisters minds are. They don’t see the error in there ways, so sad.

The problem is rising expectations for said potential husband through experiences with other men, and emotional imprinting. a woman at 26 is set in her ways, why would i bother with a 28 yo if i'd want to have children and have the time to get to know her, a woman would be 33 at the earliest after 5 years of relationship. They expect a ready made nest at that age, that's another issue, it's hugely disrespectful.

@@RisingKing1024 A lot of people get angry when they get called "selfish." But, when you look at the outcome, it speaks for itself without having to say anything. I always thought it was weird when I've heard women (and a few men) say, "My baby is a blessing. But, the raggedy person that I had it by was a mistake and a bad choice. I can't stand my baby daddy because he ain't shit. I wish I never met him. I shouldn't have had sex with him because he ain't worth a damn." If the child comes from the father (because he's the one who ejaculated) and shares 50% of his DNA.... if the baby daddy is a mistake… then his ejaculation (child) wouldn't exist either. If she never had sex with him, she wouldn't have gotten pregnant by him, and given birth to one of his seeds, and there would be no child. By calling him a "bad choice/mistake" it seems like it is indirectly saying that the child is a mistake and that the entire situation is a mistake without directly coming out and having to say it. It's like being filled with regret over the entire thing.
And I think one of the only reasons why people don't want to say it is because it's a way of emotionally protecting the child... like a defense mechanism. If there was no child, she would have no problem with calling the dude a mistake and a piece of sh*t that she wishes she would've never met. Things are different when you share DNA with somebody. It has always seemed kinda weird to me because any way you slice the situation…the child is the outcome of that choice… and it really doesn't seem like there’s any getting around it or trying to separate it. It's like trying to tap-dance around it because the guilt is overwhelming. Word semantics, but you have to read between the lines. But, don't get me wrong... my apple is a blessing that was planted from that raggedy apple seed. And I wouldn't have it any other way." But without the apple seed, there's no apple? Can't really have one without the other?
The child is the only true victim and will be the collateral damage of that decision. Kids are smart and piece the puzzle together, especially as they get older. They start to realize the truth and reality of how they were born and which type of situation they've been born into. It seems very selfish, unaccountable, and continues a cycle of dysfunction.

My own cousin became a single mom at 26 and recently got pregnant at 40. The 2nd time around she knew the due had 3 baby mamas. She now has a 15 year old and a 2 year old. She is now dating again. She's been telling my mom about her dates for 15 years now. None of her relationships have worked out and she always complains about something that the guy did. She usually says nothing wrong about her own shortcomings and tries to pretend like it doesn't bother her not having a man. She says stuff like, "I'm not tripping. Plenty of fish in the sea. He can kiss my black ass. I'm too good for that." I don't know if she realizes it, but she comes off as very combative and disagreeable. I think she decided to have the baby because she was lonely/desperate. But, now that the dust has settled... she wants a romantic relationship. Why else would a woman with a teenager and toddler find the time to still be dating if the baby was fulfilling her? In my heart of hearts, I think my cousin wants an escape from being a single mother and regrets it. She has also recently found out that the toddler has autism. So, that's why I say that I'm not sure where she's finding the time commitment to go on all these different dates. It seems like she has a lot on her plate.

You just have to learn how to deal with and expand your options. If she's not on the same page as you, don't waste your time. Focus like a laser and ask the tough questions when you go on dates. If you want marriage, let that be known. If you don't want to deal with single moms, let that be known. Maybe even date a younger woman or explore different cultures. @@missk6040 Yup. FACTS! . I'm 22 and when you start hitting 25-30, it becomes more common. It's only been 5 years since we graduated high school and a few of my classmates already have kids and baby daddy/mama drama. Kids are very expensive, and take up a lot of time and energy. So, I've never understood making babies just for the sake of it. On top of that, if the other person "ain't shit", then why make a permanent attachment in the form of a child? Especially if they weren't even good enough for marriage (something that's supposed to be life-long). I've even heard people say, "Well, at least I created life. Can you even have kids?" They will try to convince you that it doesn't matter how a child gets here, who you choose to have the child with, or which type of situation a child is born into. But, that is nothing but foolishenss.
Either way somebody tries to spin it, it's dysfunctional. I see these types of situations all the time and it never comes out pretty. The child always ends up becoming the collateral damage of a reckless decision. It's unfortunate. Having a baby is not picking out a puppy.
