As a retired university instructor, I really enjoy your down to earth presentation style. I want to help you out, so even though I am a beginner short on money, I paid for Publisher Rocket (I want you to get a decent affiliate commission ;-)
@@paulmarles Hello. When checking the strength of the keywords, should the word we searched for appear fully in the titles of the books that appear in the results, or could there be some deficiency?
About Keywords everywhere it is worth to mention in order to save credits i suggest to turn off google and other websites like yt if you don't need it in settings and also turn off "Show Metrics in Autocomplete Suggestion Drop Downs" under Miscellaneous Settings. I bought 10 dollars pack and with this on i have used about 1000 credits which is 1 % in like 30 minutes of searching. With this off it will only show you specific keyword volume after clicking enter in search bar and it's gonna use 1 credit.
I've been watching your most recent videos but wanted to go back and see what you were saying about tools a year ago. A question ran through my mind as I was watching this. Looking back and to the present what would you say are a couple of the biggest changes that you have made and how you do this business? Granted, you have a lot more experience now. But the market has also changed and you possibly have had to change tactics here and there. Maybe the basics are the basics are the basics. I would love to hear your musings on this topic
Paul on a previous video you talk about selling keywords on Gumroad? Have I got that wrong? Not really looked into Gumroad much, not sure as a low content author if I could make money from it??
But really my question if How can I ensure that my product will be shown in a category where I have the desired search results? I don't want to post a book for sale and have it end up in a 30,000 plus results page with so many of books.
Can you tell me why, when I type in a keyword into Amazon search bar, I get product results, not the search information, as shown in this video? Is it due to the plug-ins?
Hi Paul. One question. I have installed and paid for Keywords everywhere extension but what I noticed is that when I search for a single keyword on Amazon, it doesn't take only 1 credit from my account, but several. I did about 5 searches and I have already spent approx 400 credits. Is this ok? I'm thinking maybe it takes credits also for the other keyword suggestions amazon and amz expander shows, but still, the number of credits used seems too much.
I think maybe each suggestion that comes up it uses one credit. But with your example that would mean approx. 80 suggestions appearing with each search so I don’t know I’m afraid.
Just subbed to Cerebro to give it a whirl, looks very interesting. Not sure yet if the rest of Helium 10 is of much use (possibly Magnet) as the full package seems to be geared towards FBA. Looking forward to using it as it's already thrown up some bad news on a couple of my current books. @Paul Marles do you find results reliable? I'm currently using Publisher Rocket but I don't have 100% confidence in some of the results. I was also looking into KDSPY, do you have any thoughts on that one? Cheers 👍
I don't use KDSpy so can't really comment on it. I think Cerebro is the best module in Helium 10 and I've certainly found some useful and surprising keywords which has helped with books sales. It also throws up some other useful niches to target.
Hi, Paul, I just LOVE your videos... your an excellent teacher :-) I have a question : I use AMZ Keyword Expander but I don't get the little grey numbers beside the keywords (sales/mo and price). Would you know why that is ? As you seem to take them into consideration, I'd appreciate having them too ;-) Is your extension different from mine ? Thanks for your insights !
You speak really well. Admire your articulations of every word. Clear instructions (y)
Thank you. That's very kind of you to say.

Yes, you can just switch off the plugin.

Very little has changed. And I have made no changes whatsoever to my publishing business. Same old methods still work nicely.
Great tutorial, thank you
You’re welcome 👍
Thank you so much. That was really useful

Another great one. I am still confused about the search vol. of KW to choose. Should it be below 1000 or 1000 above ?
Below 1000

It was about keyword lists I’m selling on Gumroad.
thank you
have you ever looked at kdspy?
Yes. It’s ok. I’m not a huge fan of it.
Hi Paul, which tool do you use to show bsr rank in multiple categories like in this video? It seems like ds amazon quick view but more features.
No, just the normal DS Amazon quick view. The Helium 10 plugin also has lots of features and a good alternative.
@@paulmarles Thanks, Paul. Keep up your good work please.
Hi! You are GREAT Teacher ! Please tell me , are you from UK or UN. Thank you
UK.

Choose your category and use the correct keywords.
Can you tell me why, when I type in a keyword into Amazon search bar, I get product results, not the search information, as shown in this video? Is it due to the plug-ins?
I use a plug-in called Keywords Everywhere.

Actually, I meant AMZ Suggestion Expander... not just KW Expander ;-)
OK, forget my question... I found it later int eh video ;-)
I was so much in a hurry to know ;-)
Those numbers come from the plugin Keywords Everywhere.
@@paulmarles Thanks a lot, you've been really fast... I do appreciate !
Good job bro💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
Hey my books have been in review for more than 4 days. Any idea why this is happening?
Great question. I’ll do a video on it. Stay tuned!
