I would like to ask if apart Helium 10, there are anothers softwares for automatic niches searching, on KDP, even if there are not free? I prefer to make some small investments, maybe few monthly charges, but not to loose the time on manual search. I already explored the manual research on Amz physicals products, and take a lot of time and energy.

Paul - I love your tutorial videos, and was wondering how I might get the BSR to appear in my search results on Amazon. The only way the BSR shows in my searches is if I go into each individual product and look at the Product Details section. Would you be using a plug-in that gives results for all products on the page that comes up in the Amazon search, as they appear in your video, i.e., "876 in books"?

No. It's a keyword research tool. It doesn't list books.

Thanks for these videos. They are so helpful. Watching this one, I may have misheard something and I wonder if you could clarify. I thought you mentioned "three steps" - but maybe I misheard. i was taking notes & so far I have:
1: three books on first page with BSR below 300,00
2.Amazon search results below 1000.
But I can't figure out what the third step is (unless I'm mistaken or misheard & you didn't intend for this to be a "three step process?) Could you clarify and let me know what that is? Thanks for all the info you offer. Just wondering if I missed something. BTW: that chart is great! Thx.

I like so much your content and i watch all your videos Paul, but i have a question... i know that the main reason that KDP gurus like you to put out videos about KDP on youtube is to grow the channel and get another source of income ... but the question is: is not partly inconvenient for those of us who are dedicated to KDP, considering that it is direct competition in the niches? I need to answer that question and understand why many gurus give so much information for free

I've just looked and the BSR is still there. There are two plugins you can also use - DS Amazon Quick View and Helium 10.

For the three journals with BSR
I normally just look at the organic but if sponsored listings do have decent BSR’s that’s still an indication of sales being made in a niche.

It will show high BSR average if there are other books or items on that page with high BSR’s. All you want to know is, are there other publishers making sales in that niche.

Do you think it is important to consider how many books on the first page have been published in a specific amount of days? Example - how many published in 30 / 60 / 90 days. Should this play into the decision to publish in this niche or not?
That's not something I've ever taken into account. I guess if there's lots of books published recently, making saless and low review counts it may be a bonus.

Yes, I clarify it by saying avoid it until you get more experience at ranking books. So yes, if these are the first books you are creating then avoid it, go for less competitive niches, work on keyword research and cover design. When you start making regular sales, learn what works then start going for the more competitive niches.
