    Your lawn looks fantastic - well done! I bought Hydrotain and tried it for the first time ever a week ago and have watered it in deeply. I see no immediate results, but am hopeful, BUT I am in Texas - and has been 100+ degrees on several days - scorching. We shall see. I bought a gallon jug - not cheap, but they do give a price break for the bigger jug. Thanks!!

    Lawn looks great. I don’t think the tree roots are causing the dry out as you described. What is likely happening is the roots are competing with the grass for the moisture and nutrients in the soil. That is leading to the heat stress in those areas as the tree roots are sucking up lots of water from your soil.

    • @LawnAmateur

      @@LawnAmateur I have a tree in my front yard and no trees in the rear. My grass in the front is constantly in competition with the tree even though I treat both lawns (used to anyway) with the same program. Once I started getting soil test, I could tell that more nutrients were depleted in the front than the rear. Once I adjusted for the tree (I can tell as my tree is larger and much healthier than my neighbor’s trees since it’s getting so much more fert!) I have been able to keep the lawn fairly stress free.

    Your yard is super green. What state you live in? I live in Iowa and we are in a drought and grass is turning brown. Will the bio help bring the greenness back during high temps?

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you I live in CT. The Bioadvanced will help keep moisture in the lawn but you will still need to get water on the lawn for it to work in the lawn.

    • @benjaminhoskin7322
      @benjaminhoskin7322 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do you have to water daily after you use bio or maybe 2 or 3 days in between. I just subscribed to your channel. I’m also doing lawn care for some clients of mine so any tips you can give me to get that deep green I will appreciate it very much!

    • @LawnAmateur
      @LawnAmateur  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @benjaminhoskin7322 After you get the bioadvanced down on the Lawn you water it in deep then you can water your lawn 2x a week in 2 deep watering cycles trying to get about 1 to 2 inches of water on the lawn a week.

      Wow I'm shocked I know alot of people use that hydretain. I was actually surprised when I seen bioadvanced had their own lawn root moisturizer so I figured I'd give it a try to see how it would work.

    Have you found that the Root Moisturizer doesn't leave the bottle?I have 2500-2900sq. ft. which takes about 20-30min. to spray this product. As I look at the indicator to see how much is used ,it shows very little product use. I checked the straw in the bottle and it is connected under the trigger and water pressure is good. This is my 2nd time using this. Have you found this to be the case?Thanks
